He was a darling for the willfully blind at FR. Those of us who knew his entire record and understood that Newt was only out for Newt were shouted down, ridiculed, and threatened with banning for refusal to disregard his couch-sitting antics before he began pretending to be a Conservative. He may have been once, but nothing in his record from 1999-2010 suggest that he stayed that way.

willfully blind at FR
Willfully blind is harping on issues that Newt owned up to as being wrong and ignoring that fact. For example Newt said he was wrong to sit with Pelosi and changed his mind on climate. Newt, within days withdrew his comment about "right wing social engineering".

And I mean really... your link "Gingrich says Palin will not be the future GOP leader", when Gingrich himself was planning to run for President, only shows how willfully blind the few who suffer Gingrich Derangement Syndrome are while they desperately build their spamming links posts against the man.

You can and will remain willfully blind, merrily dancing to the tune of the MSM. But many of us are aware of the full picture such as Jim Robinson endorsing Gingrich for President and what his record in power is: 1998 ACU Ratings: Gingrich 100%, Paul 88%, Santorum 84% [last year all 3 were in Congress]

I saw FR go collectively from Palin to Cain to Newt and didn't understand any of it. It looked like a giant cult-like group who surrendered their individuality in order to remain in the group.

However, we can pick apart everyone of our candidates and somewhere we have to realize that we need to choose one of these flawed human beings as they are all human. We have unrealistic expectations.

We're starting the whole kabuki dance all over again and I'm not ready for it.

I agree with every word you say but Newt did lay out a reasonable plan to deal with these evil RATS.
