Those of us who knew his entire record and understood that Newt was only out for Newt were shouted down, ridiculed, and threatened with banning for refusal to disregard his couch-sitting antics before he began pretending to be a Conservative. He may have been once, but nothing in his record from 1999-2010 suggest that he stayed that way.

But many of us are aware of the full picture such as Jim Robinson endorsing Gingrich for President and what his record in power is: 1998 ACU Ratings: Gingrich 100%, Paul 88%, Santorum 84% [last year all 3 were in Congress]
However, we can pick apart everyone of our candidates and somewhere we have to realize that we need to choose one of these flawed human beings as they are all human. We have unrealistic expectations.
