In partial defense of GWB, I believe a very large chunk of the debt he added was the bipartisan “stimulus” package that would keep us out of a severe recession.

Obama’s and the Democrats’ only criticism of that bill was that it wasn’t big enough.

Its falling under GWB’s responsibility is more a function of the calendar than G’s spending/borrowing proclivities.

BTW, who writes this crap? I puzzled over it for five minutes trying to figure out who had borrowed what.

I don’t hate GWB, but he is certainly no conservative. He’s far better than Obama, but that doesn’t say much.

As an aside, I think amnesty will get passed and here comes our bilingual nominee Jeb.

As I understand it, Ws portion of the debt was about 5 trillion. The stimulus was about 700 billion. While it didn’t help things, it was only about. 1/7th of the total debt accrued by W.
