I come from a family—like millions of others—with generations of military service. Ancestors on both sides fought in the War of Independence, ditto the Civil War, as well as WWI, and my father in WWII. My brother and brother-in-law were career military.
I for one, however, would advise against MY son(s) (and certainly daughter(s)) for fighting for an America of: “Gay marriage, abortion, removing God from the public square, surge in child molestations, murders...” (not to mention the persecution of people of conscience, via Obamacare).
I cannot imagine that there aren’t millions out there, just like me.... THE most traditional American families supply our armed forces with their personnel, but who wants their sons to fight for a corrupted, even tyrannical, and actually evil, America?
I am a Son of Confederate Veterans and trace heritage back to the Revolutionary War.
Damn proud of it.
