Footnote 14 is particularly interesting for what it reveals of the state’s stonewalling in the case. There is every reason to fear that Zimmermann will not get a fair trial. They want to send a message to white Americans that they do not have a right to self defense if a member of a favored group tries to kill them. Zimmermann is not white by the usual standards (he is part white, part South American Indian, and part African in ancestry) but he has been made an honorary white for the purposes of this case.
When the investigators are conflicted about probable cause the case is dead when they take the stand. Media stories about incidents like this rarely capture the facts a jury will hear during a trial, but this is one of those rare instances that I observed and read fatal flaws in a case immediately. On top of that, they reached too far with the charges. The defense is going to destroy this case at trial and if I were Zimmerman I would want the trial to clear my name - no negotiations.
Prosecutors would do well to avoid being caught up in anything involving the race hustlers... they come in and stir it up and leave those duped by the hysteria holding the bag. Lady Justice is supposed to be blind for a reason.
Yep Footnote 14 also states that the state has hidden the statements of witnesses who claim that they can identify George’s voice on the infamous 911 call yelling for help as well — and all of this after claiming that defense has received everything.
