Yes...he is on Lexapro...we go for his 3 month checkup at the end of December and I will ask about the sleeping. The doc has always told him he needs to exercise more. Both my Mom and I try, but now we can have him remember with the nurse told him today. I made him stay up for dinner...I let him have a one hour nap, then had him do 3 laps of his usual bedroom, hall, living room, dining room, and kitchen, then back down the hall. Then left him with a tv program. I couldn’t get him to read or do a crossword puzzle. Then he said he was going to bed!! Pushing only goes so far. At least it was after 8p. That’s better than the whole last week.

Pushing only goes so far

Absolutely...and can't push too hard sometimes. They can become resentful. It's a very fine line we have to walk with our elderly parents. Makes me miss mine even more!
