Another factor to add is video games and the internet. Today's young men are different than those who proceeded them. They are stuck at the age of 14. They are not as eager to experience real life. In the 70’s and 80’s a young man had to leave the house in order to satisfy his animal spirits. He had to keep himself in decent physical shape for obvious reasons. Those animal spirits could only be satisfied by another person, a real person (the opposite sex for 98% of us). He had to go out and find her, and woo her affections. Today, the young man never leaves his families abode. Plays hours of video games to numb his mind. When the animal spirits arise, the Internet is right at his disposal. He doesn't even have to include a Playboy in a stack of Time, Newsweek, and National Review when dealing with a real life store clerk. Inevitably this leads to a softening of the body, leading to a metamorphosis of young man to slug. In the end, a slug will vote Democrat every time.

When your choices are shrew Sandra Fluke type Career women or single moms who popped out 2 or 3 kids from different thug fathers, both of which can easily rape you in divorce court, let's just say for most guys playing Wii or Playstation is a much better option.

Some of this is due to decline in morality in general, and a lot has to do with parents not expecting their children to behave responsibly. Parents’ goals should be for their children to learn to be responsible adults, learn to work, and to suffer the consequences of their own mistakes. Most parents shield their children from all of these and indulge them instead. You do no favors for your kids if they never have to work for what they have or if they don’t learn to respect and obey their parents.

The other big issue is the absurd system that keeps people in school of one kind or other until they are in their thirties. Most kids today could easily learn what they need to know and be able to provide for themselves by the time they are 18, if they are taught that their goal is to be successful, responsible adults. The entire education system is a government con and does nothing but provide jobs for union teachers and leftist professors. Oh, and subsidized day care.

These alternatives to divorce, custody battles, and being booted from the home where your children sleep (while still paying for the home) are available to women as well.

The fact is that the legal atmosphere (which enslaves fathers at the whim of the mother) and the economic atmosphere (in which it is increasingly difficult for a white man to get an education, job, or promotion) make it impractical for a man to risk so much.
