Nice Stiller win yesterday. I usually don’t buy into the sports “emotion” but the photo of Charlie and Big Ben hugging is just so real. Batch put his heart into that game...I think that man will remember beating the Ravens yesterday forever.

The story Quinn lead with (Costa opining stupidly on guns). My 15 year old was watching (I wasn’t) and he came up and told me “bob costa just said something dumb about guns and they’ll talk about it.” The story is sad (head injuries—how many concussions did Belched have? Drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence...and there is a 3 month old who doesn’t have her mom any more...yet NBC pontificates on the only part of the tragedy that is immaterial.)

For what it’s worth, I just sent e-mail to NBC and told them they are going to lose some of their football audience over costa’s remarks. I really hope it happens.
