Thsi is what 50 years and a trillion dollars of great society programs have bought us. An underclass of people filled with barely controlled hatred such that even minor disagreements can trigger a mob attack against the people that pay their bills.

No, that is actually quite common.
What is also common is that news outlets turn off comments for stories like this. This has been noted many times here on FR.
Many people “get” it. The media keeps them from talking about the events forthrightly using comments on news sites. The media can’t handle the truth.
That isn’t true, there are reports and even videos of one-on-one. A 30-odd YO black male approached an unarmed 16 YO WF from behind, and knocked her out with one punch to the head, breaking some of her teeth when she fell forward on her face on the concrete sidewalk she was on. She didn’t even know he was there. That one’s on video.

Still, that’s obviously an attack from extreme advantage.
Size, age, Male vs Female, and absolute surprise.

I have a dream. A dream in which a person can be safe in any neighborhood, irrespective of the color of their skin.
This is undoubtedly true. We have our own ‘Madrassas’ in America, and the instructions are given by self-serving or hate-driven political activists and by ambitious politicians, and the information is often legitimized and conveyed by our MSM.

The other elephant in the room is the pervasive stupidity and cowardice of the white population in the U.S.

In such circumstances, what the boy needed above all else was a pair of knives.
With an hour or a few, he could be trained to be extremely hard to attack without weapons, without getting cut. Such training could be entirely defensive, but anyone entering his “space” would leave bleeding.
And though attacked by a group, this just means that those who get closest get cut the worst. That is, those who keep their distance get their arm or hand cut, but those who get in close get their abdomen cut.
This is a more literal “stand your ground”, in that after the fact, you tell the police that you just stood there, so that nobody who was cut was innocent—they were attacking. This means your actions were entirely defensive and not aggressive, and that your attackers were both offensive and aggressive.
You will never live in a safe area until you move out to where the buses don't run! NEVER allow ‘public transportation’ to come to your area without a fight.

Just like the Watts riot, when the National Guard and LEO started shooting and the rioters started paying the price, the riot stopped.
