After the predictable, shocked rhetoric of death about Jovan Belcher of West Babylon High and the Kansas City Chiefs, you still arrived back at the only place that mattered in the last hour of his life: the gun.
You plowed through all the rest of it in the aftermath of what happened Saturday morning outside Arrowhead Stadium, went through the résumé of how many positions Belcher played for Coach Al Ritacco at West Babylon, how he played linebacker at the University of Maine before he became a defensive lineman, and how he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chiefs and emerged as a star. All that was relevant in the end, the only relevant job description, was this:
Jovan Belcher, shooter.
Shooter of the mother of his 3-month-old daughter with his own mother in the house, then himself. Maybe we will never find out what brought him to this moment, rage or jealousy or the need to obsessively control Kasandra Michelle Perkins, his girlfriend. Maybe it will turn out to be a brain injury nobody knew about, or something else that caused this madness.
But we do know this: Murdering this young woman, 22, and then killing himself in front of his coach and his general manager was made easy by a gun, because a gun always makes it easier.

One of our local morning radio guys approached it this way - “I can refute this argument in two letters. Not two words, two letters.”
And what were those two letters?
O and J.
Belcher was “offended” by the thought that she could “put him on child support”
Yeah, it’s always the gun.
Jettison any notion of personal responsibility and stomp all over the Bill of Rights. That works every time.
I thought the steroids made it easy.
Drinking, taking pain killers, a few concussions and living the fast life had nothing to do with it. Only the gun. Just ax any northeast type liberal.
You feel me?
Thugball strikes again
when the perp who is use to a culture where babymommies go on welfare while babydaddies show up the day the check show up...gets a good paying job, like in the NFL, he doesn’t get it when the byotch does not play by his ghetto rules. so he kills her and thankfully himself too.
Before guns there were no murders. No crime. It was the evil gun that brought this plague upon us.
As long as people continue to blame inanimate objects for what is obviously a societal problem, nothing will ever change. This is why Liberals in general have a serious mental problem. And no, I do not say this in jest.
They would prefer to throw blame where it does not belong vs. finding the root cause of why the incident happened and finding ways to eliminate the root cause.
Blaming a gun for the actions of someone who obviously has serious problems is not finding a solution, it’s attempting to cover up a very disturbing aspect of how some people live their lives... before ending their lives and those of other people.
As for the ease of murder aspect. I can, off the top of my head think of dozens of ways he could have easily done it.
Knife her then carbon monoxide poisoning for himself. Drug her then CO poisoning for both. intentional fatal accident. and others.
Blaming the gun is not a solution, it is a symptom of failure to look at the real underlying problem. Which is the liberal mindset in my opinion. Destroyed family values, no faith, no good will. All greed.
This stupid b.s. doesn’t deserve an airing on FR. Everyone knows that Lupica is a bat shit crazy bleeding heart lib with mommy issues.

This incident is going to expose the fact that the sports media is perhaps even MORE liberal than the MSM journalists who cover news and politics. As if that is even possible.
The gun made him do it. Belcher was not responsible for his actions. Patronizing white liberals make me sick. They honestly feel people of color are too stupid to make their own decisions and that liberals like themselves will give them the guidance to lead better lives. The nanny state mentality is alive and well even in sports journalism.
I was thinking the same thing, OJ used a knife and suicide wasn’t in the agenda, He knew he could get away with it.
These people can’t think of something else to write? Apparently not. Is anyone else appalled that these people will take a murder/suicide and blame it on the gun?
If he could have just stabbed his victim, or beat her to death with a hammer, then that nice football player might still be alive today. That gun made it too easy to kill himself afterward. Terrible shame. /moonbat
If he strangled her to death with his hands, would these LIB pinheads want to ban hands? On the plus side, having killed her and having a gun, he saved the taxpayers a lot of money. It is unfortunate he just didn’t kill him self.
Always amazes me how the sports-media is totally infested with these faggy lib weenies. Lupica is a vile POS to boot. Next time a gangsta linebacker goes psycho, I hope Costas and Lupica are present as ready targets.
And owning a car makes it much easier to get into a automobile accident but......
