SAVAGE!
The third hour was missing.. instead there was silence until about ten minutes into the hour then some funny noises followed by a male voice saying "Check. One, two, three" several times.
That was followed by the sounds of Savage and crew what appeared to be getting ready for the show.. you heard Savage say something about a big night because of the NY and Washington station. You heard a male voice again repeat several times "Check. One, two, three" and "Testing. One, two, three." There was the bumper music and announcer (recording) saying "Savage Nation" and call "Michael at . . . ."
I recall Michael saying, "I knew I should have stayed home." I heard him ask "Are you a caller?" and male voice replied "Yes." I guess it was just someone who called too early.
Then there was total silence. I exited and connected again. The status showed On Air but there was nothing until Levin came back on with about 20 minutes left in his show.
could try streaming a different source
I could have turned on the radio also.. I am in Sacramento but being "a fly on the wall" was more fun than Levin's last hour.
Live blue Monday.
Live we are! WABC and WMAL join the Savage network.
Caught only the last 10 minutes of Levin. No probelms mentioned.
Doc sez he is at KFSO studios.
I am not complaining. I just found it interesting.. A chance to hear a little of what goes on before the show starts. To be fair this was unusual because it was the first time at the KSFO studio.
As for Savage's complaint that there is too much emphasis on Obama he obviously does not listen to the people I listen to;
to wit, variously William Bennett / Imus (both 0300 - 0600), KSFO morning show (0500 - 0900), Rush (0900 - 1200), Tom Sullivan (sometimes Hannity, 1200 - 1500), Levin (1500 - 1800), Savage (1800 - 2000), one hour break. Then a mix of Andy Dean, John Bachelor, Red Eye, and John Gibson (delayed).
“Death and taxes”
Well, taxes can be avoided, legally or not.
KSFO - The Flagship of the Savage Nation!

Howdy, Fishtank. As always, thanks for the links!
When Obama is criticized on Savage's competitors it is nothing like the hatred of and lies about Bush that were on Air America. The other liberal station in town was pretty decent and reasonable.
That caller's voice (a couple of calls ago) sounds familiar.. he's making the case against the other talk show hosts for Savage.. this is starting to sound like an orchestrated affair. Savage is using this to continue his attacks on competition. He is just plain wrong about his competition.
Personally I do not see a talk show host as the "home team." I see all of them standing up for America. I have no interest in who "wins the pennant." It's primarily a business of course and egos dominate. But I still see all of them as American patriots -- equal in many ways to the Founders.
They call themselves “progressive” radio around here, now. maybe not as shrill as under Error America
we’re gone. Up early tomorrrow. see ya on the flip side!
BTW, for all those Northern California Freepers that can’t dial in KSFO or do streaming cause they are up in the hills, like moi, there is KKOH, Reno 780 that comes in well on a skip. I forgot that station. I used to listen to Art Bell on 780 Reno from Az to Oregon... well all other stations failed.
Doc Savage was on WMAL last night!!!
YAY!!
Oh, ok. Must have been when the Redskins game was on. When I tuned in it was Batchelor.
