We’ve been overrun by idiots!”
...New York has been overrun by idiots. In VA there are few that believe this BS.
I got up this morning and the climate changed. Damn.
"We've got to stop global warming, they told us in high school this was going to happen."
Hard to blame the kids if it's offered up as "science". Probably everybody under 30 has had this indoctrination.
They dint axe me !
do they sprinkle stupid dust in the waters of NYC?
Climate DOES in fact change. Has been changing for millions and billions of years.....long before there were any humans on the planet.
P.S. Two of the other links about fracking worked. I'm 3 for 3 on those links. One had a good graphic about fracking.
Yeah well, New Yorkers voted for bloomers and cuomo and le blam, so what do THEY know?
Panicked lib: “We’ve gotta stop global warming!”
Sure, sure, Holmes, but I gots some questions for yuz...
Just how ya gonna do that?
What’s it going to cost, both directly and indirectly in our economy?
What is the timeline over which the plan will work?
How do you quantify whether your idea is working?
What will you do if it doesn’t measurably work in your timeline?
Once we get some concrete answers to those questions,
we can talk about “stopping global warming”.
“In VA there are few that believe this BS.”
On Nov 6 VA went for Obama. If they get hit hard by a storm I’m guessing they’ll start screaming about “climate change” too.
This, from my leftist-infested alma mater’s very radio station. I look forward to watching as this winter delivers Canton its just (frozen) desserts.
Hudson Bay ice extent growing like crazy
Ukraine hit with massive snowfall 302 towns without power
Russian Drivers Stuck in (snow) Traffic Jam for Two now THREE Days
Poll finds New Yorkers dumb as ever and getting dumber.
It is obvious a majority of NYers are brainwashed minions based on their voting habits. They are no different than the braindead jihidis from moslem areas where they do the bidding of even more moronic leaders and teachers.
We may be beyond the point of no return.
Yes, in my days in Elementary School they taught us about the “greenhouse effect” as fact which was my first bit of exposure to Al Gore’s theory. I only had one person who gave us a more dissident POV of the debate who was a professor in Oceanography. Otherwise it has, usually, been about the greenhouse effect, global warming, climate change, UV rays and dangerous CFCs, saving the rainforest.
The topic is probably the one that will be most exposed to kids. Look at movies like Ferngully, or that recent family movie about Brendan Fraser. Look at the Captain Planet cartoon. It is so hard to escape this kind of indoctrination.
There may be something to this. Over the past several weeks, the average daily temperature in NYC is considerably cooler than it was just 4 or 5 months ago.
Going naively by the common meaning of the two words, Climate and Change, there really is no "belief" necessary, any more than with the existence of gravity or electricity. They are each simple, easily understood and verified facts. The simple fact that the climate changes is not seriously disputed by anyone.
But like all the rest of the litany of liberal catch phrases perverted from their apparent meaning, we need someone to provide the hidden definition. It would be surprising and refreshing if a liberal would do so once in a while.
What a liberal means when using the term "Climate Change" is this: Anthropogenic (man-caused) Global Warming, a term which is much more truthful, but has fallen out of favor because of effective and factual rebuttal. It also strongly implies that strong action by the Federal Government -- or, better, all governments -- is desperately needed to "fix" this problem, or at least to punish the evil people who are causing it. People like SUV owners and other such heartless monsters.
I have a sneaking suspicion that if polls were open and honest about the hidden meanings and implications of loaded liberal terminology, the results would be very different.
