Burning down the Senate

In the hallways of the US Capitol, intrepid visitors can still find scars left behind when the British burned the building to its foundation stones nearly 200 years ago. Today, Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is doing his very best to repeat that history. Should he gain his way, Senate rules will be changed, the principle of unlimited debate will be restricted, and a fire will rage in the Senate that will burn for a long time to come.
Despite 30 years of service in Congress, Reid appears oblivious to the implications of the tired phrase “someday the shoe will be on the other foot.” In recent weeks, he has gratuitously insisted that his proposal to limit filibusters would be a broadly welcomed opportunity to improve the efficiency of the “world’s greatest deliberative body.” Seven years ago, however, he sang a very different tune. Fighting for the right to stonewall Bush nominees in 2005, Reid, then the minority leader, called the filibuster “the last check we have against abuse of power.”

Recall how they had to BUY Democrat votes to pass Obamacare and that 2 of those Senate seats were stolen (Al Franken’s manufactured recount victory and the governor appointment of Ted Kennedy’s replacement even though Dummassachusetts changed the law to a public vote when it looked Romney might have appoint John Kerry’s replacement in 2004.
There is no honor among the thieves in the Democrat Party. They lie like Stalinists and are never called hypocrites by our liberal State run media.
Which Hitler equivalent is Reid to 0bama, because he’s behaving as such. Reid is SCUM.
The sub-human filth that comprises America voted for socialism, begs for socialism, and DESERVES socialism and the misery and death and horror that it brings. I hope they choke on it and die begging for the mercy that will not come.
It's clear to me that Reid and the Democratic Socialists calculate that the shoe will never again "be on the other foot." With the changes he and Obama plan to make to neuter Congressional power, pack the courts, and make "law" via their "Commie-czars," etc., they feel their Authoritarian Imperial Presidency is at hand. There is very little time left to prevent this coup.

Even when it is on the other foot they know the idiot party (republicans) will play “fair” and change the rules back.
Harry should be careful for what he wishes for, cuz he just might get it ...
If they vacate the filibuster rule, DEMs will be HOWLING the next time the GOP takes the Senate and starts ramming legislation down their throats ...
That will never happen.
If the GOP ever retakes the senate, which it will not, it will change the rule back and be philibustered by democrats until they get voted out.
Time to wake up.
