I voted for Newt Gingrich in the Florida primary and for Mitt Romney in the general, grandma.

I’m not going to get anywhere I want with the GOP either, and I am going to do my damn best to defeat them for their betrayal and cowardice.

Republican = enemy.

Start looking at it as the Republican party is your friend. It provides you with the framework you need to get you where you want to go. The sad truth is you still have to have enough people to outnumber Democrats and it can't be done without using existing members of the Republican party.

Primaries are where you need to look for the opportunities to move the party where you want it to go. There is no other way. You need the exact same people no matter the name of the party.

I voted for Rick Perry in the caucus and Romney in the general, so what is your point?

It is impossible to create another party that will take you to your goal--too many flawed human beings involved.

I heard really depressing news this am., that Obama's approval is now back to nearly his highest point ever.

Our problem is the American people and if the American people by a huge proportion believe their lives are going to be better by raising taxes on the rich, what do you do?
