Kibbe to Newsmax: Boehner, GOP ‘Incredibly Hostile’ to Fiscal Conservatives

Matt Kibbe, president and CEO of FreedomWorks, charged in an exclusive Newsmax TV interview that House Speaker John Boehner and the nation’s GOP leadership are “incredibly hostile” to “fiscal conservatives, who are really the standard-bearers for what it means to be Republican.”

“You are for fiscal responsibility. You believe that we shouldn’t raise taxes. You believe that we should balance the budget—and you should believe that you keep your promises that you make on the campaign trail when you come to Washington,” Kibbe says. “It’s damaging to the Republican brand, and you’re seeing this division between those who have maybe been in Washington a little bit too long.” …

These are not conservatives, but libertarians.

Ron Paul people.

On fiscal matters and liberty matters, Kibbe is plenty conservative. He speaks my language and I’m a conservative. Read his book, Hostile Takeover.

The Gop is very hostile to any brand of conservative.

Don't become side tracked of the real problem. They do not have the trust of the American people. What a 13 % approval rating.

For the last month, “What’s up” has hopped from thread to thread grasping at straws to downplay the GOP’s capitulation to leftist ideology. I invite everyone to check his post history for confirmation of that fact.

He is hellbent on interfering with the momentum of conservatives wakening to political reality that the GOP is now a subsidiary of the Democrat Party.

So the question is do we follow his brilliance and remain slaves to the GOP plantation or do we act like principled conservatives and divest ourselves of the GOP and it’s apologists...like “What’s up”?

However, these four Paul-ites are "out there".

If more Tea Party House reps join them, I may pay attention.

Go ahead and come up with a good alternative and I will listen.

But if you only follow Ron Paul I will stick with the GOP.

Of course. You’ll stick with the GOP when they do anything anti-conservative.

Untrue. In this case the anti-conservatives are the Paul-ites.

What about those that have no use for Ron Paul OR the GOP?

Slot me into that category.

I will never vote for the GOP candidate unless that candidate is a conservative.

Period. Paragraph. Turn the page.

Completely true. Your post history does not lie.

And you simply adopted the ‘Paulite’ meme after reading another Freeper mention Iowa’s RP problem.

Two weeks ago you were singing about how Rohner wouldn’t cave. He already has. Now you are singing that it’s all some nefarious plot that Paladin Bohner is riding in on his winged stallion to thwart.

After the few remaining conservatives are totally cast out of paradise, you’ll lick his boots to a high luster, just as you have been (again folks, check the post history) and claim their shine allows him to walk on water.

You and those like you are exactly why we had Romney as a standard bearer. And that shows what standards we really have. The solution is to ignore and purge your type from whatever party forms from the GOP’s coming crash.

Or the rest of us deserve everything we get.

No, actually I was alerted to the fact after reading a National Review article and only after looking up the backgrounds of the four in question for myself.

I found the Iowa Freeper's comments only after this. Also a couple of other Freepers were aware of it.

And on the contrary...I know that Boehner doesn't walk on water. But it seems too many Freepers are looking for a candidate who does. That's why candidate after candidate who Freepers fall in love with so quickly also fall out of favor here so fast. We go through Herman Cains, Fred Thompsons, Eric Cantors, Michael Steeles (yes, believe it or not he was loved here at one time), Rick Santorums, Michelle Bachmanns, Rick Perrys etc. like Kleenex.

Funny, I hadn’t seen you mention it until another Freeper posted about it. Odd that.

And as for the rest of your strawmen, your post history is filled to bursting with excuse after excuse for the GOP.

That’s simply a fact. Don’t try blaming anyone but yourself for your fawning. More than a few of us see the sycophancy for what it is. But you keep right on keepin’ on.

Grandma always said that some people are needed to serve as bad examples.

I posted the info then notice that the other poster had already responded to me. Then I posted back to her.

Some of us know what's going on here with these Paul people because we are doing our DD. Others swallow the headlines.

Still looking for a viable alternative to the GOP. You and the other Paul-ites haven't come up with one yet.

The libertarians think you can do without a moral compass as a nation and still retain fiscal discipline.

Not really.

Hey, chump, Norm is not a paulite - stick with what you know because you are looking very exposed right now. And what we see, can't be unseen.

Some of us know what's going on here with these Paul people

You know diddly squat.
