Have to stop at Shop n Save on the way home so I might not be back for awhile.
Meanwhile I think I've posted this before but it has a lot more this year including a live ustream webcam and lots of new videos.

I did read the thread about Orly Taitz. She gets a lot of criticism, but she’s doing a lot more than the nay-sayers. Go Orly! I give her props for her tenacity!
I’m passing the link on to family and friends with small kids. Heck, I’m an adult and I enjoyed watching the “Santa and the reindeer” video on the site!

I concur—Boehner has to go; Allen West would have been awesome; as would Michele Bachmann. Ryan I like...but he doesn’t seem to have the tenacity needed (but would HAVE to be better than the hapless Tan Man).
Krauthammer’s analysis was spot on. It’s all political brinksmanship with Dear Leader. Fingers crossed for a blizzard on his next Immaculation Day.
Wow...took me forever at the store! I had to ask where the molassas was. They had only 5 small jars. They said the don’t sell much. That’s news to me.
Mrs p6 babysits tonight aand tomorrow so I was planning on cooking stuff for me. After going to the store I don’t feel like it.
What show was Rose saying she won’t watch? There’@s almost nothing for me on tv. Really thinking about getting rid of cable and using Hulu and similar services to watch on demand.
Rove, Boehner and all the rest need to go away. I’m including Cantor and a few others too. Newt gets a pss for now just because of his wit.
She was talking about some show starring Tim Allen. I won’t bother with it either. But the, I don’t watch situation comedies anyway. We don’t watch network tv stations. Pretty much stick to the redneck stuff on the cable networks where at least we learn something useful and they stay away from politics or at least seem to lean conservative.

I can’t remember where, and I think it was a link here on FR, someone is trying to get an anti inaugural demo going in DC that day and their shooting for at least half a million demonstrators. We might get our own “US spring”.

My new supervisor and I had a get-to-know-each-other meeting and she asked me what my favorite tv shows are. I couldn’t name one, I just don’t watch it. I’m like you, rather learn things and go to youtube a lot.
I second (or third) the “Boehner Must Go” motion. I am stunned they are purging fiscal conservatives from the committees, but I guess I’m not surprised.
I suppose they don’t dare remove Paul Ryan, though.

Just my opinion, but it looked like Christy was so worried about the people of NJ and he was just so thankful for help - as misplaced as it was - that he went’ overboard. Any port in a storm, I guess. But he waaaaay overdid it on the fawning to Obama. Heck, what did he end up getting out of it anyway? If that’s the way he acts - folding like a deck of cards - then he’d be useless as a president. I hope he doesn’t consider running.

RWI, Paul Ryan would be a vast improvement over Boehner. I wish Allen West had been re-elected. He would have been excellent as well.

Maybe, maybe not. She’s kind of a sweetie so I think it’s just one of those questions to help break the ice a bit. But regardless, I’m quiet about my views there. For the most part, I keep work separate from my personal life. Next to no shoptalk when I’m not working, etc. It’s what I do for a living, not who I am and don’t let it be my identity.
