Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns called both the current secessionist movement and elements of the Tea Party racist during an interview late last month on NBC's "Meet the Press."
The award-winning filmmaker doubled down on those accusations during an interview with Breitbart News.
Burns is currently promoting "The Central Park Five," a documentary detailing how five innocent teens were convicted of a horrific rape which shocked the Big Apple back in 1989.
The filmmaker, who works primarily on projects for PBS, says there wouldn't be a birther movement with a President Joe Biden in the White House. Burns then turned his attention to the Tea Party, saying a friend who attended a Tea Party event told him "almost every one she met there invoked the 'n-word'" about the president, he recalls.
That friend isn't the only one hearing that racial slur of late, he alleges.
"I have heard in last four years the 'N-word' used more often than in the rest of my life," the 59-year-old filmmaker says, adding Obama's detractors routinely call the president "un-American," the "other" and a Muslim.

Neither have I. In fact we have a few black members which is rare. He’s just doing this to get the MSM to paint all Tea Party members in the same light as the KKK and take away their credibility. Burns has done documentaries for PBS (which Romney / conservatives that the Tea Party sides with). He has said that he’s okay if people think he’s gay and works with many gay filmmakers so you do the math. Of course he hates the Tea Party and everything they stand for and knows that if he gets them labeled as rackets the 0bamabots will be relentless.

He’s right about Biden. Biden was born in the US to parents who were US citizens, so why would there be a question about his eligibility, other than the fact that he’s a clown.

Well, no, they weren't "innocent."
Nobody has denied they were part of a gang of up to 30 "yutes" rampaging thru the Park attacking random people, probably mostly whites.
It is probable that the public outrage over the rape attack contributed to arguable violation of their right to a fair trial.
It is possible that none of them participated in this particular attack, but it is not possible to argue that they were "innocent" teens who just happened to get caught up in the case.
I get really tired of the nearly universal equation of acquittal or overturning of a conviction with "innocence." All acquittal means is the state was unable to prove its case, it does not comment on whether the accused was actually innocent of the charge.
