Why Did George Zimmerman View Trayvon As “suspicious”?
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | December 5, 2012 | Sundance

Posted on 12/05/2012 5:59:41 AM PST by Uncle Chip

This question has dogged the entire narrative from the very beginning. People threw around the term “profile” in a racial sense. However, as more and more FBI and State investigative witness testimony/statements are reviewed the answer looms obvious.

Trayvon Martin looked suspicious because he fit the same behavioral and descriptive outline of the prior criminals in the Retreat at Twin Lakes sub-division.

It certainly appears George Zimmerman became another well-known victim of Political Correctness and Cultural Marxism run amok, here’s why:

First, let’s look at who George Zimmerman saw on the night in question….

....................

Another consideration was reported to the black advocacy/interest media outlet The Global Grind:

[...] A criminal justice student who aspired to become a judge, Zimmerman also concerned himself with the safety of his neighbors after a series of break-ins committed by young African-American men.

Though civil rights demonstrators have argued Zimmerman should not have prejudged Martin, one black neighbor of the Zimmermans said recent history should be taken into account.

“Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. I’m black, OK?” the woman said, declining to be identified because she anticipated backlash due to her race. She leaned in to look a reporter directly in the eyes. “There were black boys robbing houses in this neighborhood,” she said. “That’s why George was suspicious of Trayvon Martin.” (link)

let’s see... he was wandering around BETWEEN the houses in the rain in the dark...

If someone was walking between my house and my neighbors house in the dark in the rain, I would be suspicious too...

AND I would probably carry my gun to go see why

“Political correctness does not legislate tolerance; it only organizes hatred.” Jacques Barzun

I hate political correctness. It not only organizes hatred; it corrals us all as sheep.

We even have Twitter Jail - not a limit on your tweets - but actual jail sentences for being impolitic. Amazing how a once free society is transforming itself into a gulag.

I don’t know how long Zimmerman had been doing that Neighborhood Watch stuff but as someone who has done Security work I can say it doesn’t take long to develop a sort of sixth sense on who is behaving suspicioulsy. It is also just in the way they are moving, what they are wearing and the places they are seen - a lot of the time it is split second thing based on all of the above.

George's words..."They always get away" says it all.

A minute later, Tray jumped him.

We know Tray did drugs, engaged in street fighting, was a thief and was not known in the neighborhood.

Wearing a “hoodie” is not a cultural expression.
It is done, these days primarily, to conceal your identity.

That’s suspicious.

I have approached suspicious looking folks in our neighborhood to ask what they were doing. I have a concealed carry permit.

On one occassion, the men in the white van going door to door were trying to sell carpet cleaning services and seemed annoyed with my asking. I explained to them that there have been two break-ins by a white guy in a white van. If he wanted to get defensive about it, I’ll call officer XXXXXXX and he can investigate what you are doing casing the neighborhood. He apologized. He and his cohort got into their van and left.

I don’t think I was being racists, just suspicious. Same with GZ.

“Political Correctness” was originally conceived as Cultural Marxism.

Its current goal is the criminalization of Christian values and beliefs.

Nah. Just go to the window and get that red laser dot dancing on his chest....let it stray so the perp can see it then center it on his chest again. If he's smart he'll stop walking and commence to running.

The US courts need to accept the radical idea that “profiling” is *not* synonymous with “unfair profiling” or “oppression under the color of authority”.

The irony of profiling is that it works, and works very well, and is in common practice in most of the western world, unencumbered with “racialist” baggage.

Imagine the vast amount of money and hassle that would be saved the public if, for example, when Muslims wished to travel by public means, they were told that they should arrive an hour early, to get additional screening, “Because you are Muslims.”

There is nothing wrong about it. It is *not* unfair, because the vast majority of terrorist acts around the world today are caused by Muslims. Despite their denials, lies, and complaints.

Were we now the early 1940s, the same rule could easily have been applied to Germans, Japanese and Italians, without batting an eye. In the 1950s, extra scrutiny could have applied to Koreans or known communists.

This does not mean that “we are at war with Islam”. But it does mean that we are effectively at war with a substantial enough portion of Islam; and that unable to tell who are the more peaceable Muslims and who are the more dangerous ones, we must discriminate against all Muslims.

And there is nothing wrong with this. It is just the recognition that many Muslims cannot be trusted, and have ill intent to our nation. This is an acceptance of reality, and acting in a reasonable manner as circumstances dictate.

Let us dispense with the foolish notion that “Muslims can look like anyone”. There are a staggeringly tiny minority of Muslims that do not evidence their beliefs in their appearance, behavior, or attitudes, in such as way that they could blend in with non-Muslims.

No, there is no justifiable reason to search the wheelchair of a disabled Irish grandmother, or an 8-year-old blond girl. None. There is no realistic possibility that they could be terrorists themselves, or are transporting terrorist weapons on their persons on behalf of a terrorist.

That our courts do not recognize this means they are delusional. Likewise with congress, since they have not made it clear that reality based, not fantasy based, security works.

Zimmerman was suspicious of Trayvon because of his behavior, before he knew that he was black. Zimmerman's grandmother was black--there has never been any evidence that he is prejudiced against black people when he is partly of African descent himself. The media invented that.

The profiling charge that was used to charge him with murder all goes back to what Dee Dee claims that Trayvon said over the phone...which is why the state is doing its best to keep the defense from getting the evidence about what she actually said when interviewed (which was some days after the killing...so she could have been coached on what to say by Crump).

The whole thing is meant to be a show trial to teach people they don't have the right of self-defense in Holder's America if they are attacked by one of Holder's people.

Next Tuesday's hearing will be interesting.

We may find out who DeeDee is at that hearing since we now hear that she was already 18 years old when she gave her interview to the Matt Guttman and ABC.

She thus meets Judge Lester's prerequisites for this court releasing a witness's name to the public. Everyone else who was an adult and/or voluntarily spoke to the media had their names made public by this court.

There is now no legal reason for the court to keep DeeDee's name out of the public eye.

Let's see if the media does its job and if this judge does hers and to what extent this prosecution team will go to stonewall the facts and protect themselves.

Get the popcorn --
