“If you can’t say anything nice......”
Hope he gets a chance to reunite with his old colleague Ted Kennedy(D-HELL)...
Pet peeve of mine, sorry. You just said it. So don't be a lib about it, and hide.
He won’t go to hell because he served as a Marine in the Pacific in WWII. When he gets to heaven a few Marines might ask him if he had any idea that the political party he belonged to was ultimately going to bring the kind of despots to power that he risked his life to help defeat.
Wow that’s a first, someone calling ME a lib.
Ha ha!
Stay on topic and don’t be such a rude boy, boy.
I am sure all his decisions were fair minded. Keep in mind that Murtha was a marine too.
My old Washington Insider friend knew Brooks well. WI said, “Brooks got defeated in 1994 because he was never sober after 9 AM”.
I heard the obit on the radio. Nary a mention of Steve Stockman’s heroic, underfunded, grass roots campaign that blew Brooks out of office after 42 years. Stockman set up a printing plant in his backyard for signs, had over 2000 volunteers (mostly home school moms with their kids), and put Poll Watchers in dozens of precincts that had never seen a Republican ever.
Brooks was a corrupt, old school pol. Clinton’s gun ban was the issue that made a lot of blue collar dims turn against Jack.
Sorry, I figured that if you have no problem with insulting the dead, you’d have no problem with insults at all. I was merely pointing out the lib-like, “I don’t mean to insult him, but let me proceed to insult him.”
Your theological ignorance is outstanding. Are you going to nominate Lee Harvey Oswald for sainthood? Or will you reserve that for John "Jack" Murtha.
You confuse theological with whimsical. Twit.
