AMERICA NEARS EL TIPPING POINTO December 5, 2012

I apologize to America's young people, whose dashed dreams and dim employment prospects I had laughed at, believing these to be a direct result of their voting for Obama.

On closer examination, it turns out that young voters, aged 18-29, overwhelmingly supported Romney. But only the white ones.

According to Pew Research, 54 percent of white voters under 30 voted for Romney and only 41 percent for Obama. That's the same percentage Reagan got from the entire white population in 1980. Even the Lena Dunham demographic -- white women under 30 -- slightly favored Romney.

Reagan got just 43 percent of young voters in 1980 -- and that was when whites were 88 percent of the electorate. Only 58 percent of today's under-30 vote is white and it's shrinking daily.

Republicans think people should be self-sufficient - in other words - get themselves to the polls. The Democrats on the other hand - do it for their voters. They take care of them - just more nanny state type of politics.

Republicans need to wake up before its too late. They need to get a conservative message out to the people. Ok, I’m dreaming here, aren’t I?

So it's all about race, huh Ann? Well, screw it then. The country is toast.

Nearly 20 percent of black males under 30 voted for Romney, more than three times what McCain got.

But that is some hope for the future. Won't hear that stat on the MSM.

What’s an ann coulter?

Isn't she the sellout who dates libtards and loves homosexual celebrations? I haven't paid any attention to her since her love affair with the love affair with the very democratic candidate Mitt Romney.

Yep. The cause of the problem is not immigration, that’s the effect. The cause is natural-born Americans having less children. That creates a vacuum that, for economic reasons alone, demands to be filled with immigration. Businesses need more workers and more people to buy their stuff. If enough people aren’t being produced indigenously, they will import them. And there will be plenty of cheap, vacant housing for immigrants to get as a result of the country’s low reproduction.

Yep, Romney actually gained enough with blacks over McCain that it probably totally offset his loss with Hispanics. His problem was with the white voters who didn’t show up.

What Ann is totally missing by focusing on race is that the income gap is much clearer. Romney won with those making over $50,000 and lost with those making less. The Republicans need to tailor a message to lower income voters of all races. Minorities probably lean Democrat because they are more likely to fall in the lower income range. Doesn’t really explain the Asians I guess, but that could be due to so many of them being highly educated at our finest communist institutions.

According to the current Wiki totals, Romney came 5 million votes closer to Obama than McCain did. Romney got slightly more votes than McCain while Obama got a lot less than Obama did in 2008. Most of the former Obama voters simply appeared not to show up, but even if they all showed up for Romney, Romney still would have lost the popular vote narrowly.

Only 3 candidates have ever gotten more votes than Romney, Bush the 2nd time and Obama both times. If anything, we should be looking at what worked in 2004 for us. But even Bush’s 2004 vote total would be well behind Obama’s.

The key to Obama’s wins is that he has turned out a lot more voters than anyone else has ever been able to. That tells me it’s much less a political thing and much more of a cult of personality appeal. Higher turnout from minorities relative to whites seems to have possibly saved him this time, while in 2008 he had enough white support that it really didn’t matter.

2012:
Obama: 65,392,680
Romney: 60,727,863

2008:
Obama: 69,498,516
McCain: 59,948,323

2004:
Bush: 62,040,610
Kerry: 59,028,444

Asian-Americans are one of the fastest growing population groups and have topped the Hispanics in immigration. Asians account for 5 percent of the population now. When Romney talked about “self-deportation” of immigrants in the primaries, that turned the Hispanics as well as the Asians off. The big thing is immigration policy and they do not see the Republicans as on board with their interests.

Also, Asian-Americans are not in tune with the Christian focus of the Republican party. Asians are a very diverse religious group. They are not looking at Christianity as a benefit to them.

Asians do not see the Republican attack on big government in their best interest either. They tend to cite jobs, education and health care as issues most important to them and generally prefer a big government that provides more services.

I’m kind of sick of all these analogies about why the GOP lost. The GOP lost for 2 reasons, Romney didn’t promise enough freebies and voter fraud.

"Nearly 20 percent of black males under 30 voted for Romney"

If this is true overall then statistically Romney should have gotten some votes even in Philadelphia.

Not to mention just plain old error should have produced a vote or two for Romney. This is a major tell. It wasn't just in one place but many places. That signals fraud.

****Reagan got just 43 percent of young voters in 1980****

I was one of those young people. In 1984 he got alot of support among young people. I remember going to a rally in 1984 on The Ohio State University campus at St John's Arena where Reagan was introduced by Woddy Hayes. The arena was full of young people.

Cold hard facts of life are the Democrats are plush in depth in having members who know what buses are for and how to use them.

That's not something you can say about the GOP-e

We need a special Republican campaign team made up of the most attractive young men ~ they go from door to door in Republican precincts shouting out in unison “Send out your daughters” ~ start taking care of that decadenal problem of not enough ‘publican babies!

Ann keeps using 1980 because Anderson really helps her numbers when she leaves him out.

The democrats won 44% of the total under 30 vote in 1980, and 36% of the total white vote in 1980.

2012 was a straight up election between Romney and Obama.
