Another one parroting this line. Looks like this is going to become the new Inner Party mantra for the end of the year.

The stupidity of Schumer just makes my head hurt.

If Jobless Benefits are “The Best Stimulus There Is”, then we should ALL GO ON UNEMPLOYMENT!!!!!

That would solve all our ills, according to Schumer.

Dumber than a box of rocks.

Yes! He is right. It stimulates joblessness. Is that what he wants?

So why doesn’t Schumer do his patriotic duty, help stimulate the economy by going on unemployment benefits himself?

All I can say to such inanity is.. oh my gawd. I know I’m sounding old, but such “retardation” is prevalent in America and to take care of yourselves. There is no going back anytime soon.

Maybe those on unemployment should form a ‘laborless union’.

All jobless benefits should be issued as an EBT card so that we could see what it was used to buy. Big screen tv’s would be high on the list..last would be rent and food..my guess.

Why don’t we make printing or copying money legal? That way no one will ever have to go without again.

Technically no. A "stimulus" should add activity that would otherwise not be there. Jobless benefits might have the effect of keeping existing spending going when the jobless person falls off their own personal financial cliff, i.e. the family keeps eating. But that isn't really stimulative and most benefits help a family meet only their most basic needs.

So there’s all kinds of Disposable Income with Unemployment Benefits? Funny, I remember barely being able to pay the rent.

No jobless benefits. Spread the pain. If the voters like Obama and think that his tax raising policies create jobs then let them test that theory. If the dems are correct, then nobody need worry about jobless benefits as the jobs will be coming. It is time for the Republicans to stop insulating the electorate from the consequences of their votes.
