Ann Coulter used to be one of the shinning voices of the Conservative movement. She could be counted on to verbally joust and destroy liberal opponents.
Suddenly she isn’t doing this.
Suddenly she is saying we should give in to Obama.

It's all about freedom, not the skin package or even the public stage presentation. Don't blame Ann for being a flamboyant show-off. That’s who she is.

Miller runs around calling himself a conservative because he “changed” after 9/11, at least that’s what claims. But he still sees nothing wrong with sodomite “marriage” and murdering the unborn. But in his world he’s “conservative” now because he backs the military. Coulter is the female version of Miller. Before 9/11, Dennis Miller’s entire act was putting down republicans.
It’s now just a matter of timing, preps, and placement. Dire Events are about to Unfold. Syrian chemwar, aircraft carriers, subs, ships, missiles. It can happen tomorrow or next year, but it’s going to happen.
Taxes now or later or not at all is just a tiny part of the unfolding tactical/strategic tableau. It’s 1860, 1913, 1937 and so on. Where will the lit match land in the dynamite factory? Where will you be standing when it lights off? Will it be a slow fire, or a massive detonation?
Nothing would cover an economic collapse (blame-wise) like a really good war. A big one. Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Israel, everybody can play! Even the USA and Russia!
Who will care who was to blame for the big economic collapse in the middle of all of that sturm und drang?

In six months, none of this will even be remembered. (Raise this or that tax now or then or not at all). It will all be overtaken by much bigger events.
You are right, the collapse is coming and the Obunghole crowd will make it appear to be the fault of Republicans.
The problem the GOP has is that their leadership is unable to think strategically, they try to win every battle with out any thought to the wider war. What a politician says and what they really believe is usually two different things, they say what they need to get elected, then they go ahead and do what they want. How often has a true liberal/progressive convinced the average stupid, uneducated American working man that he or she is on their side only to screw them after the election.
I happen to think that if your enemies battle tactics are paying off with the strategic win, you use those same tactics against them.
The collapse will happen whether Obunghole gets his taxes or not; the press is on his side and the general public is to stupid to know that when you are broke, you are broke.
At this point the Republicans can hang tough and get all the blame for the disaster; or they can cut some kind of deal that will at least let some of the blame rest where it should, on Obunghole. At the same time they are doing this they can get to the press (friendly and unfriendly) and state as simply as possible; that they did what the president, the press and the people wanted against their better judgement. And scream it loud and long, and keep repeating it while every thing turns to crap on Obungholes watch and under his policies.
Occasionally you have to be willing to lose a tactical diversionary fight to accomplish a greater strategic victory

Dude, don’t take my post personally. I’m sure you do “get” freedom and liberty. I don’t know about Ann; she’s the chick who wrote a column cheering Romney’s socialized healthcare.
I don’t mind a flamboyant show-off. What I mind is hypocrisy and creeping liberalism, and that’s what I perceive in her. Sorry, I don’t have much use for her any longer.

... You speak the very sad truth friend. There are still those that have not woken up to that depressing fact yet .... of the depth of what really transpired on Nov. 6th 2012.
It was an historic day ..... albeit .... a very sad historic day.
