Why wasn't Aldosary deported? Did someone intercede on his behalf? If so, who, and on what grounds? Or was this just another in a seemingly endless line of accommodations to Muslims and Islam by the Obama Administration -- accommodations that were probably designed to show good will and discourage terrorism? We can see from this incident how spectacularly this endeavor has succeeded. Not that anyone in Washington would dare contemplate abandoning it, no matter what the failure rate may be.
"Arizona bomber was rejected for citizenship by Homeland Security for 'terrorism-related activity," by Patrick Poole for PJ Media, December 6:
Back on Sunday I broke the news here at PJ Media of the arrest of Abdullatif Aldosary in connection of the bombing of a Social Security Administration office in Casa Grande, Arizona last Friday morning. I noted that while the bombing and Aldosarys arrest had received gained local news coverage, there was a virtual blackout by the national media on the Iraqi refugees identity.Yesterday I reported on details provided to the federal court on Monday during Aldosarys initial court hearing, which included information on what was found in Aldosarys home when the FBI conducted a search of his Coolidge, Arizona home last Friday night. Among the items recovered were a bomb making manual that had been hidden behind a photograph on the wall. Also discovered were an AK-47 and a 9mm Ruger handgun, along with more than a thousand rounds of ammunition. Kerry Picket at the Washington Times also reported that they recovered several gallons of chemicals typically used in bomb making.
When authorities checked Aldosarys bank statements, it revealed that he had more than $20,000 despite the fact that he was a convicted felon, only worked as a day laborer, and had no visible means of supporting himself sufficient to warrant having that kind of bankroll.
But a bombshell report today based on information obtained by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), who had received a request from Aldosary in November 2011 for assistance in obtaining a green card.
According to todays news report, the Department of Homeland Security responded to Gosars request on behalf of Aldosary last year by saying that he was ineligible for a change in status because of terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility:
Gosar said DHS responded by saying Aldosary was not eligible for a permanent change to citizenship pursuant to the terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility, and that individuals who engage in terrorism-related activity are barred from receiving various immigration benefits.
DHS did not elaborate on what the activity was. Gosar wrote that to be barred from permanent status, under federal law the immigrant must have engaged in activity indicating an intention to cause death or serious bodily injury, a terrorist activity; to prepare or plan a terrorist activity; to gather information on potential targets for terrorist activity or belong to a terrorist organization among other actions.
In light of the Casa Grande bombing, Gosar questioned why Aldosary was not detained and processed for deportation in November 2011, after it was determined he had engaged in terrorism-related activity.
Why indeed? Read it all.

,,,, tolerance and political correctness my dear friends is the rope that will be used to hang US all .
Paging Jan Brewer!
Paging Jan Brewer????????????
State officials can not deport anyone.
Only the Imperial US Government.
We have to try to learn from this event what America has done to this poor muslim man, his actions are not his fault, but America's.

Well, he might have voted Democrat in November, 2012! How were they to know? They feel it would have been wrong to judge this man before they were sure. :)
I am surprised, why Homeland Security don’t check online immigration forums? One can find all tricks and how they fool INS officials.

Unfortunately, that is the goal of the amnesty whiners. They accuse our side of being extreme with the slogan "You can't deport everybody."
In reality, our side is moderate (to varying degrees) and their side takes the extremist position of "You can't deport anybody."
Don't you mean only PharOahBamma can.
That says a lot about the Department of Homeland Insecurity.
The fools re-elected this guy's best friend. It would almost be better that he goes off and did what he wanted to. At that point, only the Kenyan would have himself to blame.
The U.S. is devolving to a Third World despotism in slow motion. The people who flooded in after 1965 are responsible, along with the dedicated cadres of the Left who worked tirelessly to pry open the gates and let the Barbarians in.
All of it has one goal: bring down the former Anglo-Saxon edifice known as the United States.
What follows is little more then degradation and chaos. With guys like this causing havoc occasionally to keep everyone cowed.
If he had lived in Arizona in 1960 the Pinal County sheriffs would have blown him off the map or he would have ended up in the prison in Florence in a chair hooked up to the wall outlet.
Outrageous.
