Hollywood leftists.
Doesn’t matter if Obamagabe buys into it.
The Saudis must be laughing their tails off at the stupidity of the USA to do something as stupid as ban fracking therefore keeping us so dependent on them. What is wrong with these stupid, liberal, dems. I wonder how much they paid Damon to make this anti-American movie?
You gotta love these Hollywood wack jobs.....well actually, no you don’t.
Proof that he’s a tool.
I wonder is smooth talkin’ Matt ever thought to ask the U.A.E. if they also frac their wells.
The film itself is about an outsider who is an urbane sophisticate (the oil-company leasing executive), and he insinuates himself into the homes and lives of honest, simple folk (the townspeople of this Pennsylvania village) in order to poison their minds with an idea (hydraulic fracturing) that will make him rich but that will ultimately not benefit them.
When you step back from the film itself you see that it is a microcosm - in real life, an outsider who is an urbane sophisticate (Hollywood executives and actors) insinuates himself into the homes and lives of honest, simple folk (the mental world of the American moviegoer) in order to poison their minds with an idea (anti-market propaganda in the form of a film) that will make him rich but that will ultimately not benefit them.
Who is the hero in our real-life story? Who will take the part of the honest citizen who stands up to the evil outsider and exposes his evil scheme?
‘The Rainmaker’ was the Francis Coppola film of the John Grisham novel wasn’t it?
I don’t know how much intent there is to spread anti-market ideas with a lot of these films. The Lone Outsider David who triumphs over institutional Goliath has been a narrative meme in literally countless American novels and films. I seriously doubt the people involved even think about it beyond the easy emotional payoffs these stories provide.
Matt Damon is the new Sean Penn. They can both kiss my big white butt.
That was a spectaculur analysis turned back of the fiendish plot of a sinister movie. My tagline expresses my true feelings in this and many other matters!!!
Any of you guys seen this pure unadulterated BS yet???
Liberals have a way of projecting on to others what they're doing... good catch wideawake.
