Authorities discovered hundreds of full-grown marijuana plants and others "in the incubation stage" at what they say was an elaborate Fishtown growhouse in which children were living.
The District Attorney's Office charged Vinh Quang Nguyen, 41, with possession with intent to distribute, risking a catastrophe, and endangering the welfare of a child.

My guess is that it’s because of a fire hazard. To grow 500 plants would require a ton of those grow lamps, and they get really hot.

Something fishy here. The asian kids get told what not to f with, they don’t f with it. Intent to distribute refers to finished product IIRC. For all we know he was producing for the extended family’s medicinal needs. A good lawyer and citing language barriers, I say community service. LOL
