A friend was in Lansing on Thursday. He noted that there were several thousand supporters of the bill. He also noted that nearly all the union thugs were imports from out of state. He even saw Chicago Public Schools buses. It was a very energized atmosphere but the supporters were out in force. I also learned that the unions are planning massive civil disobedience on Tuesday when the final vote takes place. I am a strong supporter of this legislation. I am not anti union but, just damn they have gotten away from their mission of protecting their workers.

The simple fact is that a considerable number of Michigan union members do support right to work. It was bound to happen eventually because Michigan is a largely conservative state and conscripted union conservatives are now fighting from within.
