Do the majority have a right to take someone else's money just because they vote for it? Well they certainly have a legal right, because it is the law of the land. I think its very unwise of them to vote such a law in, but conservatives have lost that argument already. I'm not too sure how you can lose an argument that revolves around basic math, but there you go.

What they don't have is an ethical right, but we aren't going to get too far with that either. Greed trumps ethics nine times out of ten. As other posters have said, there's not really an awful lot we can do about it. Of course, eventually the whole thing will collapse, as all systems based on wishful thinking rather than truth do. But I don't take too much comfort from that either.
