REDFORD, Mich. (AP) — President Barack Obama says right-to-work legislation in Michigan is more about politics than economics. He is criticizing a measure that would prevent requiring non-union employees to financially support unions at their workplace.

Obama received loud applause at a Michigan engine plant when he said we shouldn't be "taking away your rights to bargain for better wages and working conditions."

The president says that the right-to-work bills are more about "giving you the right to work for less money."

So transparent. Sent in the organizers the day before. The union goons run out and scream. He comes in the next day on his white horse and makes a speech.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Someone should explain to the president that what a state does or doesn’t do regarding ‘right to work’ legislation is none of his damn business.

A special heads up for those who want to get involved as moles. I received this email from the teamsters today.

Tonight, Monday, December 10th, General President Hoffa will be hosting an important conference call with Michigan Teamsters to talk about the Right-To-Work legislation that is moving in Lansing. Right-to-Work would be devastating to Michigan’s middle class, so we need every Teamster in the state to get involved if we’re going to stop it. The call will begin at 7 pm and should last about 30 minutes. You can dial in to the call using the number 855-269-4484.

On the call, you will hear about the huge rally being planned for tomorrow, Tuesday, December 11th in Lansing. Teamsters are asked to meet at 8:00 am tomorrow in Rooms 203 - 205 of the Lansing Center (333 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48933). We will then march together to the State Capitol for the rally and day of action. Remember to wear your Teamster jackets, shirts, and hats! For a rally flyer, please visit: http://www.teamster.org/sites/teamster.org/files/121012flierrighttoworknov11.pdf

Again, the Right-To-Work conference call details are as follows:

When: Monday, December 10th

Time: 7:00 pm

Call-in number: 855-269-4484

And the details for the rally meeting place are:

When: Tuesday, December 11th

Time: 8:00 am

Where: Lansing Center (333 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48933)

Meet in Rooms 203 – 205

The President, in flawless Ebonics, said, “We shouldn’t BE TAKING...”, when he should have said,”We shouldn’t take...”,

I hope the Michigan GOP rams this down the democrats and Obama’s throat, I'm getting sick of that cocky sh*t eating grin on Obama’s face since the election, it's time he took one to the chin...and maybe Boehner and the house republicans will realize that you CAN fly Obama the bird and still win.

Where does Obama suppose money will come from? Somebody has to earn it to pass onto workers.

I heard it said that $250 million dollars per year leave Michigan in the form of union political donations.

Looks like teachers in Taylor and Warren are calling in sick tomorrow and closing down schools.
