Police say three teens charged in the fatal shooting of a western Pennsylvania woman targeted her after she told them to "get a job" when she saw them trying to bum a cigarette off her boyfriend.

Beaver Falls police have charged 14-year-olds Todavia Cleckley and Marcus Velasquez and Kyle Goosby Jr., 13, with criminal homicide and other charges in Saturday's shooting of Kayla Peterson, 22. She was shot at about 3:30 p.m. that day and died in a Pittsburgh hospital two hours later.

Goosby is in custody and his attorney says he was just "in the wrong place at the wrong time" when Velasquez -- identified as the gunman by police and Peterson's boyfriend -- opened fire.

Beaver Falls Police Chief Charles Jones says officers are still searching for the other two suspects.

This sort of savage behavior by American youth is certainly not limited to blacks. There are voluminous examples of equally savage behavior by non-blacks.

Having said that, I believe it is very important for the civilized black community to fully acknowledge the shameful facts and statistics, and to forcefully repudiate such savagery.

Sadly, there are many people who will only pay attention to leadership when it comes from their own race.

Painting an entire race with a broad brush is not constructive, however, and I hope that it something most of us can all agree on. I understand the anger, but we need to be careful not to overgeneralize when such insanity occurs. It's not about color, it's about culture, values, parenting, and the like...

A point was made earlier in the thread that sought to imply that the murder of white people is “overwhelmingly” done by blacks. This is simply not correct. We can talk ratios, percentages, rates vs population makeup etc etc etc but the fact remains the vast majority of whites that are murdered are murdered by other whites.

Curious, who commits the majority of violent crime and rapes against white people? Is it blacks or whites?

It's not a question of what anybody "wants."

It's a question of living in "reality" compared to living in PC fantasyland.

If you had children going off, say, to college near a big city, and you didn't teach them the reality about the risk of violence, you would be a bad parent. Imagine a parent living in the jungle telling his kids that panthers and sheep are equally cuddly and equally dangerous. Panthers and sheep. That would be stupid, and doing the child no favors. To put your PC blinders above the safety of your children would be equally as stupid as that.

It’s amazing that the PC mindset can even overwhelm a parent’s need to prepare his kids to survive out in the world. A lot of silly college-age kids would be alive, if they were not sent out into the world believing that everybody they encounter on an urban sidewalk is just a friend they haven’t met yet.

Like sending attractive blond female reporters with flowing tresses to cover the riots in Cairo. Incredible, how strong PC is.

But it’s a sign of the times, in a society where we are going to soon send young ladies into all-out infantry ground combat, while millions of healthy young men sit at home playing video games.

The “reality reset” from all of this madness is going to be severe.

What absurd thinking you have. You must have noticed that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton only care when a white person (allegedly) commits a crime against against a black. That they never speak out about black on black rape murder etc. They don't care about that.

Fact is the screaming and racial passions come with crimes that are committed black on white and white on black. This is called inter-racial crime. Fact is that blacks commit crimes against whites (assault murder rape theft) at least ten times more than whites committing crimes against blacks

Not sure how its absurd to ask a question while engaging in a discussion. There are websites that simply live off of false claims made by conservatives. Continuing to use false statements simply hurts the cause and makes can cause good points (like the amount of black on white crime vs amount of white on black crime) to be ignored.

When the Tea Party marched on Washington, some conservatives were posting images that were clearly proven to be from the Million Man March. When some tried to make the correction, they were attacked in the same (”jackass”/ “absurd”) manner that seems to be happening here.

Don’t confuse a desire for strong factually correct conservative arguments as some sort of liberal troll attack.

First the claim was made that most whites that are murdered are murdered by blacks which is simply not true.

Then the point was made that blacks are “39 times” more likely to do such and such, and now you are saying at least “10 times”. So we have one factually incorrect statement, and two other statements that vary between factors of ten and 39.

How about someone post or link the latest statistics based on race and we can all see for ourselves that yes, blacks attack whites more than the other way around, and yes whites are responsible for more rapes, murders, etc of their fellow whites than blacks are.

According to data from the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS), an estimated 320,082 whites were victims of black violence in 2010, while 62,593 blacks were victims of white violence. That same year, according to the Census Bureau, the white and black populations in the U.S. were 196,817,552 and 37,685,848, respectively. Whites therefore committed acts of interracial violence at a rate of 32 per 100,000, while the black rate was 849 per 100,000. In other words, the “average” black was statistically 26.5 times more likely to commit criminal violence against a white, than vice versa. Nationwide in 2010, there were approximately 67,755 black-on-white aggravated asaults, as compared to just 1,748 white-on-black crimes of the same description. Thus, blacks committed acts of interracial aggravated assault at a rate of 181 per 100,000—fully 201 times higher than the white rate of 0.9 per 100,000. Moreover, blacks guilty of aggravated assault chose white victims 44.1% of the time, while whites who committed aggravated assault selected black victims only six-tenths of 1% of the time.

The mother and father remain living in the nice suburbs where they can vote for Obama or be a liberal Republican and be far away from racial crime.....They can maintain their illusions at no cost to themselves. But it is cruel not to better educate their children on black_on_white_crime. Another condition that makes the epidemic of blacks attacking innocent whites ("White Girl Bleed a Lot") is the justice system. Both the law enforcement agencies and the judicial system have been so cowed by the relentless advocacy by race hustlers like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and their leftist enablers that they no longer administer punishment on an equitable basis. The well-known "document not allowed to be linked here on FR" cites irrefutable statistics revealing that the law weighs less heavily on black criminals. As you alluded to, the extreme burdens placed on George Zimmerman for his well-justified defensive actions are proof that justice has now become a respecter of color.

I'll also add that the Marxist media contributes to this poisoned atmosphere when the world is depicted upside down. Dick Wolf's "Law and Order" series is but one example. Invariably, on "L&O", the villain is a white, heterosexual, Christian male (and often his children go to private school) and the victim is typically a black. The agenda is transparent and utterly divorced from reality.
