A Boston Public Schools teachers aide will spend at least the next year behind bars after pleading guilty today to charges he molested two special needs students.
LaShawn Hill, 34, of Dorchester, pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, lewd and lascivious behavior and unnatural lascivious acts with a child.
Hill was arrested last December after a teacher found him and a 14-year-old autistic boy with their pants unzipped in a room at the Harbor Pilot School, said prosecutor Alissa Goldhaber. After Hills arrest, an April 2011 incident involving a 7-year-old special needs student at the King Elementary School, which schools officials had never reported, came to light. In that incident, said Goldhaber, the boy disclosed to his brother and mother that he had been groped.

LaShawn Hill
I surely hope there is a special place in Hell for people like this.
"At least a year"? The known victims were young boys, ages 14 and 7! I would consider life without parole to be unreasonably mild. As much as I disapprove of prison violence and generally believe we have a moral obligation to make prisons safe even for criminals, there are times when I completely understand prison justice. People like this pervert sometimes get what they deserve.
Maybe he’ll share a bunk with Elmo.
As opposed to natural lascivious acts with a child?
When I saw the headline I thought it was going to be DUmmie Will Pitt.
Massachucette’s Teachers Union states LaShawn Hill will have his old job back along with all back pay once he regains his freedom, after all this is only his first felony.
The constitution prohibits cruel and unusual punishment, but I’m willing to make an exception for this rat-bastard.
Yes. It informs us that he is a sodomite.
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leavig the natural use of woman, burned in their lust toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet." (Romans 1:26,27)
And molesting children is even worse than that.
Do you have a Bible verse to support this?
Romans 1 makes it clear that sodomites are abandoned by God to vile affections (:26). They are called reprobate ("they have a 'reprobate mind' (:28)).
The Bible doesn't use the term pedophilia, but it may fall under fornication (or adultery if the guilty party is married). But neither of these sins carry with it the idea of abandonment by God, where he gives one up and he ceases to strive with the unsaved, effectively condemning them to hell when they die. It doesn't get worse than that.
1 year??
“But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
Homosexual behavior is usually between two consenting adults. While I don’t approve of it, there is not the necessary betrayal of the trust and innocence of a child involved.
So yes, I consider it much worse than homosexuality between two consenting adults. I’m quite surprised you don’t. I suspect you’re in a considerable minority around here on this point.
One year in jail for sexual assualt on a child under 14? Watch out conservatives. Soon it will be a slap on his pee pee and he’ll be free to carry on the homo’s free sex cause.
"little ones" (Matthew 8:16, Mark 9:4, Luke 17:2) does not refer to children, but to new converts. Even so, the punishment is physical death, not the second death (the lake of fire) which is the ultimate destination for the unsaved (Revelation 20:14,15).

I care what the Bible says, not what men say. It doesn't matter if I am in the minority or majority. What matters is whether I am in agreement with God. And on this topic the word of God teaches that the behavior of the reprobate is an abomination (Leviticus 18:22) for which God gives them over, in effect consigning them to hell. He's done with them, finished. Read Romans 1.
God finds some sins worse than others meting out different punishments. Now, any single sin will get one cast into hell ("The wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23a; and "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."). But the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ to those trust in his name. However, some sins are unforgivable--e.g. adding to or removing from the words of the Revelation of Jesus Christ (Rev 22:18,19) and blaspheming the Holy Spirit (attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to a demon/demons - Mark 2:29). No saved person can commit these. But to the argument at hand the reprobate (rejected) are given over by God, he is done with them. Unless the Spirit draws them (how can it since he has given them over?!), they are hell bound. (Some might argue 1 Corinthians 6:9 refutes this notion, but the words translated "effeminate" [malakoi] and "abusers of themselves with mankind" [arsenokoites] are only found here in scripture and there are no other uses to clarify their precise meaning. But such an understanding would be at odds with the clear teaching of Romans 1. And the Bible does not contradict itself, otherwise it is NOT the word of God.)
The man who abuses little girls, as abhorrent as we find it, the Bible does not single out for special condemnation the way it does unnatural sexual practice. The former can be saved. The latter are rejected, and future prospects are not good.
