Lynch said she and her brother Greg had always wanted to serve in the Army, and that she needed money for college. Lynch said she never thought she would be in a combat situation, but shortly after Lynch enlisted in 2001, Sept. 11 changed everything. "If I had known what was going to happen, things would have turned out differently and I would have just gone to college," she said. Despite everything, Lynch said she would still join the Army and has "no regrets." -
