Back in 1979 when I started my business “on a shoestring” and a prayer, there was no way I could provide healthcare insurance on my employees or even for myself. For years and years it was “break even” inflow-outflow money.
The business survived to thrive many years later up to today. If I tried the same thing today under Obamacare, I would instantly go under and everyone involved would be out of a job.
There are millions of small businesses that will go under starting January 2014. Large businesses may survive but will have to lay off many employees to do so.
