The broadcaster who once boastfully told "Loveline" listeners he was "literally" a millionaire isn't rich. He's successful. There's a difference, and it's one lost in the current debate over Democrats trying to increase taxes on the wealthiest Americans. Carolla shared his thoughts on the matter with "The O'Reilly Factor" viewers last night.

Well, first off, we should stop saying, "tax the rich," and say, "tax the successful." Because I'm not rich, I'm successful. And rich is easy to tax because that's just the guy who inherited daddy's money, whose dad was the Monopoly man and he lives up on the hill.
I'm successful, you're successful because we worked our tails off. And it's harder to take money away from people that work very hard for it.
And it's very easy to say, "Tax the rich." But, really, it should be "Tax the successful."
Carolla is arguably the highest profile podcaster in the country. His latest venture, "The Adam and Drew Show," was the no. 1 ranked podcast at iTunes earlier today and airs new episodes on Sunday and Thursday. Carolla also has a new line of alcoholic beverage, dubbed Mangria, hitting store shelves now.
He’s absolutely right. Let’s call it for what it is... an attempt to punish the successful.

The real rich in this world are the 300 families that are worth $300T and do not pay taxes but demand many things based on the power of their wealth.
The objective is to destroy those most able to get by without the government. Governments covet power and not only want more for themselves but want to take it from those who have it. This why they abhor private wealth, guns, an unregulated internet and even personal health decisions. All of those give the individual power and governments cannot abide that.

No doubt. History has proven this time and time again however liberals fail to grasp this concept as they have no respect or reverence for the past or the lessons learned from it. They just don’t seem to grasp the concept that history repeats itself over and over again because men and their inherent behaviors never chance despite the technology or ideaologies involved.

I read his book recently and he is not kidding when he says he worked his butt off for his money. This guy was poor growing up - he knows the value of money because he earned every penny he has.

There is a difference between being rich and being successful. successful people have actually produced something, whereas rich people simply have a lot of money.
I’ve always said ‘ Tax the Kennedy’s, the Heinz’s, the Forbes’ and the Buffet’s stashed hordes. But they ARE the problem, not the solution. Let the incremental downsizing hurt them, not the middle class.
The thing to remember is that the fascists on the left side of our politics, including Obama, these days say “you didn’t build that! “ ,for a reason.
These leftist prigs do not acknowledge that success comes about because of hard work, intelligence, risk taking, innovation, and a modicum of good luck. All the leftists see is that someone “got lucky,” and became sucessful. They do not undrstand what it takes at all to be successful, its not in their little leftist world.
So the left seeks to make the succcessful give up their “fair share” and redistribute their “luck” to those who do not have such good “luck.”
The left also are in denial that the successful pay a hugely disproportionate share of income tax, while about one half of all US taxpayers pay no taxes at all. This is inequitable and the successful know it. Therefore most of the successful of America have skilfuly hidden their wealth offshore, it has become untraceable, having been tranfrerred offshore in ways that are not traceable by the government. This fact has driven Obama to no end of distraction, and as a result the IRS has become completely draconian to the point that it regularly apologizes to the US public ( eg. We will not be enforcing the punative provisons of Obamacare ....buahahahahaha!, what a load of BUNK.)Liberals and their fascists have plans to use the IRS as a wing of totalitarian control of America, in order to establish their socialist Utopia.
So the successful who are smart have already left the USA, leaving behind little for the parasitic Obama fascist movement, simply because there is no longer any political
party which can represent their interests. Once the GOP RINOS went along with and aided the public character assassination of Sarah Palin, you could hear the “Cha Ching” of foreign banks accepting in specie deposits by the successful.
Capital for investment has already left the USA.
And unless we have a party to represent their interests which is NOT RINO progressive , surrender monkey afflicted , like Boehner and his crowd, that capital will NOT be returning to the USA. This is a financial truth which has gone unreported, all we see is the occasional reports of Obama trying to beat up on Swiss banks; and reports about the huge increase in burdgeoning regulation and emburdenment by Obama care which are both designed by the leftist fascists to destroy the successful. Yet no body is talking about that or reporting it.
It is perfectly legal to move ones estate offshore, and there is a perfectly legal way to do it.The IRS can’t touch it once it is done properly, and US taxes are paid up until the successful renounce US citizenship as a last step.
Obama does not want the successful to remain in America. The successful AND the middle class are a huge obstacle to the establishment of Obama’s liberal fascist Utopia of community organized,divided races who live in separate enclaves around the country, living high on the hog through the parasitic taxation of the so called “guilty” white majority. This is Obama’s planned social engineering, which is why Obama presently clings to his demand to be able to raise the debt ceiling in appropriation without any involvement of Congress.But minority enclaves have not yet realized that there will be no wealth left in America, and that they all will face poverty and war created by the left’s weakness in supporting capitalism, or our allies abroad. That pigeon will soon come home to rest, but also will go unreported.
Adam Corolla is quite right in what he says. But the fact is that America now has actually lost the ability to have a “successful” society at this point. The “American Dream” has been killed by Liberal Fascism. Just get in line for that government job, or for the next government hand out. If you are white, go to the back of the bus, or start doing an Al Jolsen impression of white shuck and jive like Boehner and his “fetch and step” colleagues. The sucessful have been replaced by government mandarins who now will seek that big retirement fund from government, building their mansions along the Potomic. America will not have to worry any longer about the departed successful. There is no capital for success left in America.
