Django Unchained set in pre-Civil War Texas and pits a former slave against his tormentors when he becomes a bounty hunter

Early reviews of the film claim the n-word is used frequently by black and white characters, but the level of violence is even more disturbing

Not the first time that Tarantino has gotten in trouble for use of racial slur In his 1997 film Jackie Brown, the n-word was used 38 times

I won’t see it, just because of Mr. Fox’s reverent worship of Obama.

Charles Manson wanted a race war, you know. They said he was crazy. He's in prison, and he's not coming out.

Today, the political elite and the entertainment elite are pushing hard -- really hard -- for a race war. They're crazy, but they aren't in prison.

I enjoy violence in novels and movies if it is properly used—i.e., in accordance with some moral point.

I don’t think Tarantino ever understood that in his earlier films, where the violence is excessive and pointless, as far as I’m concerned.

This movie sounds even worse, since it tries to excuse the violence and appeal to the Hollywood crowd by making it politically correct.

No, thanks.

I’d much rather be forced to watch “The View” for a whole week than be forced to watch this garbage once. No thanks.

Wasn’t planning on seeing it anyway. 99% of today’s movies are slop. If I want to see a good film, I’ll put in a DVD or watch TCM.

An excellent time to stir up old wounds. /s

Should riots ensue, no doubt Obama will have Tarantino arrested and perp-walked on national TV.

Actually what Tarantino is a very smart business move. He has succeeded in creating a controversy. The result of which is he is getting a lot of free publicity, which will probably translate into higher ticket sales.

Madonna was a master of creating a controversy to enrich herself.

Controversy sells —Tarantino is playing us for suckers.

That actor was TOLD to go over the top, the other day.

Us getting all shocked is all part of the plan.

Django Unchained..

Another "knock out" movie.. as if we needed it or Mississippi Burning in the first place. . .

"In the second case, Wisconsin v. Mitchell, 508 U.S. 476 (1993), Mitchell and several black youth were outside a movie theater after viewing Mississippi Burning, in which several blacks are beaten. A white youth happened to walk by, and Mitchell yelled, “There goes a white boy; go get him!” Mitchell and the others attacked and beat the boy."

This Django "kill whitey" movie should give the Knockout Game quite a boost.

It's a film made to appeal to the 95% who voted for Obama. A Black film.

Surprised it wasn't made by that racist black idiot Director Spike Lee — the Spike Jones of filmdom.

RE: all of this is just to create a controversy and lure white people, et al. to the theater?

Yes.. the Knockout Game requires unsuspecting victims and it's dark in the theater. :)

I’d rather be waterboarded for a whole week than watch “the view” once.

Much the same with scum like Foxx.

I dream of Brownie with the light blue jeans,
She is as sweet as licorice jelly beans.
She makes me happy and she makes me feel merrier,
Brownie is my favorite, she’s my pet terrier.

I love Brownie better than;
Jeanie...Jeanie
I love Brownie better than;
Jeanie without brown hair....

-Spike Jones

I guess you haven't seen Lee's Never Hit A Honky In The Head With A Shovel, It Leaves A Bad Impression On His Mind. Use A Rock Instead.
