Clinton Tarver has been serving hot dogs to hungry locals in downtown Lansing, Mich., for the last five years, but a brush this week with a pro-union protest literally upended his small business in a matter of minutes.
During a protest against right-to-work legislation in Michigan's capital, Tarver’s catering supplies were destroyed when demonstrators tore down the tent where he was serving and trampled his gear.

When I read this title, I thought, Locals? Union Locals? But from the many other stories posted here about it, I know that was not the case.

I’ve know Clint and his wife Linda personally for a number of years. Both are very conservative. Linda is politically active. Clint is a downtown institution—to live in Lansing is to know the Hot Dog Man. He was hired by AFP as a caterer while they supported RTW legislation. He is not billing AFP after what transpired at the rally—that’s the kind of guy he is. Don’t know if that answers your questions but I hope it helps.
Actually, he was hired by the people who had their tent destroyed- and he was in the tent trying to help someone get out. It was when he returned to collect his belongings that he was called names and had his belongings destroyed.
(AND he is on record as a Mitt Romney supporter to boot.)
Actually, he is quite political - he was a staunch Romney supporter and even showed up at the Romney rally wearing a red suit. Everything else you wrote was correct, I just want to clarify that one point. Clinton is a great guy - I've interacted with him on many occasions and he wouldn't say an evil thing about anyone whether or not he agreed with their political positions. This was a shame. He was just trying to earn a living.

I learned about this yesterday. Actually, if you do a search, as I did, you’ll find it was reported all over. There is also a YT clip of Mr Tarver’s appearance on a local radio show.
Thanks for the clarification. The website I was using for reference said that Clinton or his wife had said he wasn’t political. Heh, so much for reporting these days.

We've been hornswaggled so many times that the outcome is harsher than the intention.
And regardless of the intention there will be repercussions, such as from myself.
If my dealing with possible con jobs and raw perceived victims is racism to you,
then you should concede defeat because of your insinuation that questioning a Black
persons intentions are Racist. This is the result of overplay by the left at every turn,
and you've fallen into their trap.

And yet the liberals still swear that it was Tea Party ralliers who did that to black Congressmen after the House vote to pass Obamacare when Pelosi marched into the crowd with her gavel held high.
