There is no such thing as "forced" schooling!
You are free to send your children to any school that you like, Public, Private, Parochial, charter, magnet, or even homeschool. Your position has lost quite a bit of credence.
so if we sent them to private school, we get our tax dollars back?
Dang! Now you tell me! (Slapping my forehead in chagrin!) And to think of all those hours I spent getting my kids tested, putting together portfolios, and sending test scores and evaluations to the county! I could have just been minding my own business, enjoying learning with my kids and would have never had to worry about the truant officer showing up on my doorstep!
Next you will be telling me that I am not forced to *pay* for government schools!
You didn’t bother to answer my question, so I have to assume you have no interest in learning WHY so many of us homeschool. We all know you hate us, so do us a favor and leave us alone and we will do the same.
