Given Romney's history and that of his father, their is plausibility in your reasoning. Romney did after all go after the running contenders and ruthlessly at that, but not Obama. He also spent 2 times as much on campaign adds as Democrats, where talking about a business man here. His friend and lawyer change the by laws at the convention (12,15,&16) to make it easier for the GOP to keep more control. A lot of writing is on the wall here. I also keep thinking back to what Rush Limbaugh keeps saying back about the Democrat Party Core Groups who have a voting seat at the alter of power. Re: Romney's election process, remember too that FOX NEWS and friends all came out backing Romney, as "the Only One Who Can Beat Romney", remember that. They sold him every minute of every day, which means they were part of the game.
