Rob Parker on RGIII’s blackness

“But time and time we keep hearing this, so it just makes me wonder deeper about him,” Parker went on. “And I’ve talked to some people down in Washington D.C., friends of mine, who are around and at some of the press conferences, people I’ve known for a long time. But my question, which is just a straight honest question. Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother?” What does that mean, Parker was asked.

“Well, [that] he’s black, he kind of does his thing, but he’s not really down with the cause, he’s not one of us,” Parker explained. “He’s kind of black, but he’s not really the guy you’d really want to hang out with, because he’s off to do something else.”

Why is that your question, Parker was asked.

“Well, because I want to find out about him,” Parker said. “I don’t know, because I keep hearing these things. We all know he has a white fiancée. There was all this talk about he’s a Republican, which, there’s no information [about that] at all. I’m just trying to dig deeper as to why he has an issue. Because we did find out with Tiger Woods, Tiger Woods was like I’ve got black skin but don’t call me black. So people got to wondering about Tiger Woods early on.”

RGIII grew up in a military family. I think he grew up without the race division.
In all his years playing football in Texas he was never asked about his blackness.

These people can’t stop race baiting can they?

So you aint REALLY black unless you hate whitey and vote for the party that want’s to keep you on the plantation. Sounds like a self-loathing situation.

Too bright and articulate to be authentically black, is that it?

More disgusting racism from the protected class. By all appearances, RGIII is a man of God. I resent these ugly race-baiters calling him into question. Why? Because he doesn’t wallow in sin like YOU?

Slither off, creep!

I guess RG III is going to be lambasted for not being “black” enough. Funny, they never held it against a certain resident in the White House who (racially) is only half-black, with no “slave blood” among his ancestors.

Here’s RG III’s “real” ptoblem: his parents were career Army NCOs. He was raised in an intact family; je learned the difference between right and wrong and was held accountable by his parents. They instilled.a work ethic in him and expected him to do his best, on the athletic field and in the classroom. From what I’ve heard, he was an excellent student, both in high school and at Baylor—a university with some measure of academic standards for entering freshmen.

By those standards, RG III is practically an alien to many in the black community. And that is tragic.

I’ve always wondered about the media characterizing people as black.
Tiger Woods is about one quarter African IIRC. Of course since he was “successful” he was termed “black”.

Baraq Obama may be a bit more black than TW?

RG3 was born in Okinawa Japan but I believe his parents are both “black” ??

20% of young black men voted for Romney in the last election. A lot of us are looking to get off the plantation. Hopefully it looks like RGIII might be one.

This is disgusting. Maybe he’s off doing something else...yeah, like using his God-given talent, earning a beautiful salary, inspiring youth headed down the wrong paths when he’s out on the field. Other kids...heck RGIII is practically still a kid himself... black, white, purple, polka-dot...no matter what freaking color they are, have a newly graduated athlete to inspire them and look up to. Not only that, RGIII is thankful for what he has been blessed with, and he remembers to give the Lord thanks, which must just eat at liberals like acid.

I’m fighting mad that the ‘rats have brainwashed their minions to race bait. They are lower than dirt.

I don’t think that number is correct.

Obama received 93% of the Black vote.
He received 98% of the Black female vote.
If he received only 80% of the Black male vote,
that means there were over 3 female votes for every male vote.

I may be mistaken, but near as I can tell Mr. Griffin and Mr. Cousins are the same color:
