I remember around 2008, seeing on TV a clip of a speech by Obama (speech #999,778), in which he was bragging on and on about how proud that his grandfather had served in the US Army. It was almost like he was trying to "piggy back" off the glory of his grandfather. And also to pretend like he just LOVED the US Army. Well, now I think I read that even that was a lie.Something about the time table and that his grandpappy would have been 14 years of age, or something like that.

ANYBODY ELSE RECALL THAT, OR CAN FILL IN THE BLANKS OF HIS GRANDPAPPY /US ARMY STORY ??

IIRC he said one of his white relatives liberated a concentration camp in WWII & he gave the name of the camp & it was not one the U.S. Army liberated but rather the Red Army.
