ESPN COMMENTATOR: RGIII A 'CORNBALL BROTHER' DUE TO POSSIBLE REPUBLICANISM
http://www.breitbart.com ^ | December 13 2012 | by BREITBART NEWS

ESPN’s Rob Parker dropped a bombshell today when he called NFL rookie star and MVP candidate Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III a “cornball brother.” That means, according to Parker, that RGIII isn’t a real black person, and that he might not be “one of us” or “down for the cause.”

What was his justification? RGIII is engaged to a white woman, and could be a Republican.

Seriously.

So, according to Rob Parker, athletes should be separated along political/Religious/racial lines.

Rob Parker should be fired. Immediately. If not sooner.

Griffin got into college at age 17. He got his undergraduate degree in political science with a 3.6 GPA and a masters in communication.

Sounds like he may have a future in poliics!

Indeed he may. I continue to be how impressed at how well-spoken Robert Griffin III is. His speech after winning the Heisman was the King's English -- free of jive, slang or sub-standard eubonic nonsense. I can't help but contrast Griffin with fellow Texan and Heisman runner-up, Vince Young, who punctuates every few words with "man" even when being interviewed by a woman. For all I know, Young may be a decent guy but his mush-mouthed manner of speaking and street slang does not reflect well on him.

Bu the way, the latest Heisman winner (and another Texan), Johnny Manziel, initially seemed a bit nervous when delivering the acceptance speech. After getting past the butterflies, he was very impressive and showed maturity far beyond his years (having just turned 20).

Rob Parker is a DMF. Dumb Mutha #@##er. He was driven out of the Detroit area sports market because he's a DMF.

RGIII specifically avoids talking about partisan politics.

Rob Parker is just jealous because RGIII knows who his daddy and grand daddy are.

That future may happen sooner than later. Scrambling QBs have a very short shelf life.

I have long lost any respect for most black commentators on TV. Most of them are true uncle toms and sell-outs.

Huh? No, I'm an 'Uncle Tom' and a 'sell-out', because I'm a conservative who votes Republican, and who believes in the Founding Principles of America.

The black commentators you're referring to, are all a bunch of slaves on the Democrat mind control plantation. Hardly 'Uncle Toms'.

I really hope the day comes when people like Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell and Robert Griffin III are the norm for blacks and not just a small subset.

I second that.

Because they are part of the democrat plantation, they have sold out their fellows for their own perceived gained. That to me is an uncle tom. Some may be sincere, but at this point, given how the left exploits them and keeps them ignorant and in poverty, for them to continue towing the rat line, while at the same time hating on those who are conservatives is, to me, the definition of selling out.

And yes, I am referring to liberal commentators, many of which work at espn.

Just damn pathetic on so many levels.......

PS: Does anyone else find it annoying in how they refer to Griffin as an acronym? “RG-III”

Why not just call all players acronyms? Troy Aikman could have been ‘TA-I for example....

Oh, I understand your perception of the term, but it's not commonly understood to have that meaning.

Among blacks, an 'Uncle Tom' is a black person who isn't 'down for the struggle' against the majority culture/population/traditions, or you're someone who considers themselves to be part of the mainstream.

In other words, if you're not a honky hating, class warfare raging, black power advocating Marxist, then you're a 'sell out' to the 'cause'. You're a disgraceful, self-loathing black person, who doesn't deserve the skin you were born in.

That'd be me.

Scrambling QBs have a very short shelf life.

Do you remember Fran Tarkenton, Roger Staubach, Randall Cunningham, John Elway or Jim Zorn?

Anger seems to refresh leftards. No matter how convincing their victory is, the mere continued existence of those they vanqu There must be a continual flow of strife and tumult for them to feel like they`re thriving.

No worries. At times we debate with the language of the left. Just like when we talk about classes, straight out of Marx.

I have become very racist against most blacks and I remove the racism on individual basis when it is deserved, like with RG3, Herman Cain, Walter Williams and thank God many more decent people who happen to be black.

I don’t want to be judgmental, but after the foolish behavior of 90% of black “culture” it is a defense mechanism.

After all, Jamie Foxx apparently dreams about killing all the white people... I am sure he isn’t a minority among his “brothers”.

Pretty sure it means nothing but a bunch of Texas Heisman winners and runner up of late. Just random noise. Old Dallas Cowboys fan but go RG3.

“down for the cause.”

What exactly is this cause he speaks of?

Struggle ?

To continue struggling ?

If Parker were “down for the cause” maybe he should quit his job and go on welfare.
