The FBI is seeking $4 million to replace “vehicles, laboratory and office equipment and furniture,” while Customs and Border Protection wants $2.4 million to replace “destroyed or damaged vehicles, including mobile X-Ray machines.”

Vehicles are on wheels. Why weren't they moved to higher ground?

Long ago, if you had a vehicle assigned to you from the G and something happened to it while it was under your care, YOU were held responsible for the loss and or suffered some administrative sanction such as a non paid vacation.
