A 12-year-old girl who uses a wheelchair was detained for nearly an hour at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport by Transportation Security Administration agents who said they detected traces of bomb residue on her hands, according to her mother.

MyFoxDFW.com reports that Shelbi Walser, who suffers from a genetic bone disorder, was traveling with her mother from Texas to Florida for medical treatment Dec. 8 when she was prevented from proceeding through a security checkpoint.

Eating/holding hot dogs could cause that to happen.

TSA's Grip on Internal Travel is Tightening

"The application for funding from the TSA constitutes a preliminary step toward systematically expanding TSA's authority from airports to highways and almost every other means of public travel. The expansion would erase one of the last remaining differences between the US and a total police state; namely, the ability to travel internally without being under police surveillance. The total police state you experience at airports wants to spill into roads and bus stops, to subways and trains. Or, rather, the TSA wants to solidify and spread the fledgling and erratic presence it already has."

This is only going to get worse and worse UNTIL people start refusing to fly if they don’t absolutely have to .

If people refused to fly and put up with this the airlines would have no choice but to try to put a stop to this and go back to providing their own security .

If you stop feeding the beast it starves .

What is wrong with these people is they are sadists bent on creating as much emotional distress as possible. The so-called response was a piece of wallpaper intended to dissuade any and all criticism. The only meaningful fix for this is an absolute boycott of airline travel. This will force the airlines to throw out the malicious TSB and install legitimate, professional screening that will discover terrorism. To date millions of US citizens have been discomfited, embarrased and emotionally scarred with not one single act of terrorism discovered.
The problem is not that the girl may have been a terrorist. A 10 second unintrusive evaluation would have proven otherwise. That this wheelchair bound child was terrorized, threatened, bullied and severely emotionally damaged serves to demonstrate the underlying agenda of the TSA.
This harassment has been repeated thousands of times resulted in thousands of badly frightened citizens. Counseling and compensation services should be demanded in court filings to cover emotional distress deliberately induced by TSA employees, policy and procedures.

If you like the TSA, you'll JUST LOVE what Obozo has planned for next. Can you say "BROWN SHIRTS"??

Pictured here is the first TSA hire under the new SPOT program. Harvey Schmegma, was a former participant in the Pentagon’s controversial program featured in the recent film “Men Who Stare at Goats.” Due to his excellent resume and prior experience in a similar program, Mr. Schmegma will begin service as TSA’s National Training Supervisor. Schmegma, who claims to have killed over a dozen goats during his Army service, also admitted to an unfortunate accident involving a cherished pet. “I was angry at my dog for peeing on my copy of the 255 pound TSA training manual and stared at him just a wee bit too hard. Damned if he didn’t just keel over and die.” Through tears and a voice choked in emotion, Mr. Schmegma, blurted out “Dog’s name was Spot so I took that as a sign that I was destined for this new TSA program. They want me to wear dark glasses so that doesn’t happen to any passengers.” He begins a 3 day training course at Boston Logan Airport next week.

Marine Double Amputee ‘Humiliated’ to Point of Tears on Delta Flight Gets Helping Hand From Fellow Vets

Marine Lance Cpl. Christian Brown Gets Help From Fellow Vets Following Delta Treatment

Facebook: Marine Lance Cpl. Christian Brown

“I have been flying with Delta for a gazillion years and this crew treated Chris worse than you’d treat any thing, not even any body.” That was the opening line of retired Army Lt. Col. Keith Gafford, during a phone interview about the egregious treatment on Delta Airlines of fellow veteran, Marine Lance Cpl. Christian Brown, who is now a double amputee following severe injuries acquired while serving in Afghanistan.

“I did 27 years in the military. I have seen a lot of things and have seen a lot of guys die, but I have never seen a Marine cry,” added Gafford. “What the kid said was, ‘I have given everything that I can give and this is the way I am being treated? This is how I will be treated for the rest of my life?’”

Gafford’s stern words came in defense of Brown, who just last Sunday was “humiliated” to the point of tears during a Delta flight from Atlanta to Washington. According to the Washington Post, the Marine was treated disrespectfully and clumsily when he was wheeled to the very back of the plane.

To make matters worse, retired Army Col. Nickey Knighton, who along with Gafford were on board at the time provided a detailed and scathing “customer care” report to Delta after other vets attempted to move Brown from coach to a first class seat offered by another flyer, but were refused by the in-flight crew. WaPo provides context including the fact that Brown was ill with a 104 degree temperature at the during the flight:

I have. I was leaving Norfolk and they swabbed my laptop and found residue. I had no idea what was going on until the TSA guy asked if I had been fertilizing my yard or garden. It dawned on me then, so I explained that I had been entering reload data into my laptop the day before. I never thought to wipe my computer off...now I make sure I do.

In this case, I think the TSA people did what they are supposed to do...investigate a positive swab.

I have been there since this farce started. I flew once since then and that was enough. No more until this garbage stops.
