That’s the Dems’ way of protesting—the GOP preference vote was widely split.
I think he he funny and think Garrison Keillor is funny.
Do you have an exerciser on a space shuttle named after you?
Ha! I didn’t think so.
So there!

Why do you noobies always insist on singling out the GOP? Nonetheless, I appreciate the unintended irony of your unintended irony...
Please not Joe Wilson. Is this the idiot Joe Wilson? Please say no.
Moi aussi, mon ami.
Pokes fun at both sides, and has facts and numbers and names to back it up, when he does.
F’r instance....
RE: I believe in the last election, the runner up to DeMint was democrat Al Green. Should not he be in the running too.

There are MANY people in South Carolina who will vote for ANYONE but a Conservative.
In 2010, there was this man named Alvin Greene (not the singer, but the one you mentioned above) who for reasons I still cannot fathom, became the Democratic party nominee to ran against Jim DeMint.
Greene never held public office before and at the time of his candidacy, was unemployed and living with and caring for his father. He did serve in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force before receiving an involuntary honorable discharge in 2009.
On August 13, 2010, it was announced that he had been indicted on criminal charges of showing pornographic pictures to an 18-year old female college student
Greene never presented any coherent policy during the campaign and sounded redundant and incoherent when interviewed about why he wanted to defeat Jim DeMint. He kept repeating over and over again: Jim DeMint started the recession.
Anyway, Jim DeMint won the election of course. What surprised me however was this DeMint won ONLY 63% of the vote. Greene won 28% of the vote ( which translates to over 400,000 votes right there!! ).
That tells you a lot about many voters in South Carolina right there.
You probably should have looked it up.
Do not alter my words.
You may equate the GOP with America if you are such an abject party creature, but do not alter my words without pointing out that you have done so.
A distinct American nation existed before the Washington government and before the entwined malignant tumors known as the Democrat Party and the GOP. An American nation will exist after all of them are gone, and might even thrive again without their suffocating bonds.
Whatever stimulates you, have at it.
This country is so doomed
What happened to integrity and indomitable spirit? Do people in college think the way to the presidency is to be a street corner "organizer" or a half spun late night blow hard? Heaven help us.
Colbert is so proud of his South Carolina heritage he went to voice class to get rid of the Southern accent. The reason? He said he didn’t want people to think he was stupid because he was a Southerner. The man is a creep and a disgrace to all self-respecting Southerners.
So he is a cultural sellout along with being a vapid bore. I didn’t know that but I am not surprised.
wait for it...

The person with knowledge of the process says the Republican governor is choosing among U.S. Reps. Tim Scott and Trey Gowdy, former first lady Jenny Sanford, state agency director Catherine Templeton, and former state Attorney General Henry McMaster.
Jenny Sanford? Huh?
RE: Jenny Sanford? Huh?
Yes, being victimized entitles you to some sort of “compensation” from South Carolina.

“People here in MN elected Jesse Ventura and Al Franken.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
They may have elected Jesse but Al got in the old fashioned way, by votes “found” in car trunks. The recount continued until Al was over the top, otherwise they would still be counting.
