Not going to argue with you. Its a waste of time to argue that there is no risk to selling the pill OTC. It would do a great deal of harm to thousands of women and their families.

To believe otherwise is delusion.

From the immediate and practical point of view, all it would mean is that everybody who wants to use oral contraceptives will have to pay for their own pills. (Insurance doesn't pay for OTC's.) Therefore it would take it out of the purview of the HHS mandate. Arguably he sees that as a step in the right direction.

On the other hand, I think he's wrong because OTC's are not harmless; and of course, their impact on society is a disaster, just as PVI predicted. But nobody wants to hear that, even though it's staring us all in the face.
