FORT HUACHUCA It was an early Christmas present.
Thats how Canadian Brig. Gen. Dean Milner described the return home of about 60 soldiers of the 11th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade Thursday.
Just before 11 a.m., a contract commercial airplane landed at Libby Army Airfield on this southern Arizona Army post and a short time later, the soldiers were walking off the aircraft, going through a cordon of honor of American flags held by local motorcyclists, many from various veterans service organizations.
Milner went into the airplane to shake each soldiers hand before they deplaned and went through the cordon to be greeted by other soldiers of the 11th.
Christmas comes early for troops & families.
Very sweet! Very nice to have this good news today. Thanks for the ping.
Welcome Home troops! Thank you for your service.
Thank God that they’re home. I want all of them home. They have
done all they can do over there and now they are just fodder
for the terrorists.
