Nope. Obama can sign anything he likes; it won’t hold.

And I include the so-called UN treaty, too.

Dollars to donuts.

Jack, you may be right about the pols coming up with something to die in committee. They may also pass something in the Senate to try to demagogue the issue in the House. I don't think Obama will make this his showdown vote. He has bigger things to push through the House like tax increases and taxes on energy.

But the latter reminds me of his war on coal. Ir's no accident that he is hiring 100 high paid federal employees a day. These people are at the upper ranks in the bureaucracies and will themselves have hiring authority. They will hire people who are antigun throughout the federal government and will be guaranteed to hate gun owners, gun manufacturers, employers who allow guns, truckers who ship guns, park administrators, school administrators who don't toe the line, policy wonks who implement gun control in 1000 different ways.

This is Obama's war on America. He wants to destroy America's power and the power invested in Americans by the Bill of Rights. He wants to destroy the soul and moral fiber of America. He wants to teach children to hate and fear guns (except the gang bangers who are his allies). He will sign an EO or two for the cameras so he can be seen as doing something. He may sign a few more away from the cameras that go further. But mostly he is expanding and subverting the federal government for his cause.
