The brother who lives in NJ is apparently still getting threats, etc.

It is kind of strange that, NJ-brother says he had no contact for 2 years with the alleged killer. Yet, the alleged killer was initially mis-identified because he had the NJ-brother's ID. Didn't the NJ-brother miss having the ID and did he know his brother had it?

[Just more of many questions about the incident and trying to figure out the killer's mind.]

Doesn’t seem that surprising that an underaged kid brother would have his ID. Maybe an old license or something that would get him into a bar. Brother might have given it to him or might not have known about it.

Could've been an old school student body card or an old drivers license left at home and that's why he didn't miss it?

Perhaps it was an old ID -- like his brother's outdated DL that he wouldn't miss.
