Birmingham police are on the scene at Saint Vincent's Hospital this morning, where somebody fired a gun early this morning.
We have now learned that a police officer and two hospital employees were injured during that shooting, and they have been taken to UAB hospital.
Their injuries were not life threatening.
The gunman was killed during the shooting.
Police say that the public is not in any danger, and that the situation is under control.
Our reporter on the scene says additional nurses have been called in to work.

I don['t know about my cousin that was shot, but his grandparents are big Church goers.
But they're more into singing and "shallow" Biblical knowledge, rather than deep Biblical knowledge.
However tithing is a must.

You cant bring a gun into a hospital!!!!!! How the living hell did he break through the ethereal legal shield that surrounds a hospital where a person is usually flung back into the street the moment they step onto the property? You hear stories about the kid who brings a drawing of a gun to school and is suspended. How in the hell did the crazy in Conn. get four guns into the school? Something is all screwed up!!!

That's what I think.
I think, but I'm not sure:
the police brought in a criminal that had to be guarded and under custody.
While the person on the stretcher or gurney, someone came in to finish the argument, and didn't care who got in the way.
OR, another "gang member" came into the room to break his friend out.

I understand. I’m not so much interested in the victims, as I am in the mindset that allows one to do this sort of thing.
Are registered Republicans doing this sort of thing? Are Democrats? I’d like to think there are far fewer Republicans taking part.

More details.
A man who fired on Birmingham police officers before he was shot to death early today was upset about his wife’s care.
The man was ejected from St. Vincent’s hospital about 8 p.m. sources tell Al.com. He returned about 4 a.m. and went up to the 5th floor where his wife was a patient.
Sources say he briefly took a security guard hostage but the guard escaped.
While in the hospital the second time, sources say the man talked about “meeting his maker.”
When police arrived on the 5th floor, he opened fire. Two officers returned fire, killing the man.
One officer was shot but is recovering. Two employees were also shot. At least a dozen shots were fired in all.

Yeah, could be that, too.
Anyone could have followed the ambulance. It’ll come out soon enough, if we hear any more about it since it obviously wasn’t a “mass shooting.”

“A man who fired on Birmingham police officers before he was shot to death early today was upset about his wifes care.”
Okay, maybe it wasn’t a gang-banger. If the above is true, what did the moron think was going to happen to his wife with him dead?
No wonder the libs want to disarm America before Obamacare come online.

It could be anything, that would drive a person to do such as this.
If you really want to understand it, you have to go to the Bible.
Most people don't want to admit"there is a GOD, our "Heavenly Father", and His Son, Jesus Christ".
But don't excuse evil. I'll recommend the following:
These booklets will help some to understand. But most won't listen.
And most that do listen, won't believe.
And of those that DO BELIEVE, most won't
REPENT, and ask God for help, then CHANGE their ways, and OBEY GOD.

You know, the man upset about his wife’s care now won’t be there for his wife, if she survives her health problems.

This is just the opening act about Obamacare.
Now picture 100 million armed pissed off Americans about the worthless Obamacare procedures and policies.

I appreciate the religious aspects of this, and don’t have a problem with what you have stated there at all.
What I am trying to get across, is the idea that one party blames others for everything. One party tries to get people to take ownership of their problems and work them out on their own. I believe one ideology here trumps the other as being healthy.
That’s why I would be interested to see the political breakdown on these shooters. If as I suspect these folks are mostly Leftist leaning rejects, it would be nice to know.
In a number of instances they have stated up front that the shooter was a right wing lunatic only to find out they were Leftists later. Look at the Congressman Gabby Giffords case.
Is that the norm? I’d like to know.

Time might reveal some answers for you.
I can't forget the
Terri Schiavo case,
where the Court Ordered a reactive person starved to death, because her worthless husband wanted her insurance money.
There is one party that is mored connected to death, than the other.
But you'll NEVER get the LAME stream media to do anything but cover that fact up.

St. Vincent’s is a very large, very reputable Catholic hospital in Birmingham. Even though I work for a rival hospital, I have never heard any complaints about the care given at StV.

A reminder to all:
Christmas time is crazy season. Beyond the drunks & thieves, depression affects many people during this time. Please discuss this with your family.
Be aware & be safe.
Merry Christmas!

Thank you all for your prayers and inputs.
UPDATE reference my cousin's health:
Doctor came out of surgery and said my cousin has to wear a bag for at least 3 weeks at least.
His intestines are tore up pretty bad from the gunshot through his back.
It'll be at least 6 weeks before they'll know how his healing will go and if his bag-wearing will be permanent.
