My cousin came to after the surgery, and he said he saw the gunman coming in the hallway with the gun.
He immediately opened a closet door, shoved a nurse into the closet, and felt the burning sensation in his back.
As his knees buckled, the closet door closed from his weight, and that's all he remembers for now.
