Indianapolis As a tow truck driver lay pinned between a car and a metal wire, it was a passerby's quick thinking that saved his life.
Jamaryon Middlebrooks was driving along North Emerson on a Sunday night when a frantic person waved him off the side of the road. Middlebrooks found a chaotic scene, as the tow truck driver went unconscious and witnesses described him turning blue.
"He wasn't breathing. ... They felt a pulse but that was about it," Middlebrooks said.
Middlebrooks made a split-second decision, grabbing his handgun out of his truck and firing nine shots at the chain, eventually dislodging it.
Gun Control in action, by a responsible, non-psychotic adult.

We once used a rifle in a two story hay barn to mark the location for a wood stove flue. Easy as pie and we all got a laugh.
This was one lucky truck driver. No way would a cop have shot off 9 rounds to free the guy.

Sorry love. I do not agree, I feel more responsible gun owners are the answer. If a teacher or the principal would have had gun, that kid would have been stopped dead in his tracks, as would have happened at the theater and the mall. It is time for the public to take a stand, we are going to need to defend ourselves anyway, cannot do that with silverware and a water hose.
Someone would stop the criminal before that do such carnal damage. If we outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. Not my way of thinking, not even close.
Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. How bout less violent movies and video games, ban those SOBs, ok now I am on my soapbox. Do forks make people fat I ask??? WHY NO people make people, fat, or disease, the same can be said for GUNS.

When I was stringing CAT5 cables in my house through the attic (no floor, just insulation). I used a crossbow to shoot a length of nylon fishing line the length of the house. Then pulled the cable through...
Yup. Same idea. I remember thinking, what a pain to put a huge ladder way up there to drop a plumb bob. After shooting a whole through the roof, it was easy to install the flashing boot.
I’m laughing like crazy over good old American know how.

I heard of a ham who used a .45 to drill the hole for his coax in the interior wall top plate-the bullet didn’t do any unexpected harm but the discharge of propellant gas blew the wallboard into the room s below!!!!
Here was my reply to those morons:
“Oh yeah, let’s just punish the tens of millions of LAW ABIDING gun owners because of the actions of the 0.001%. Lets make it so only the hood rat and government criminals are the ones with guns... Yeah that would make us sooo much safer. How about going after the real cause of the problem which would be the entertainment industry? TV, movies, and video games with increasing violence over the past 20 years has lowered morals, coarsened society, and desensitized people to violence. Saying that guns kill people is as absurd as saying forks make people fat.”
