As a postscript, keep in mind that I believe all of us here are on the same page as to the real definition of an “assault rifle.” (Not Clinton’s definition cut from whole cloth.)
Read the article: the term came from (drum roll) California.
The military considers an “assault rifle” (notice I’m using scary marks) to be a rifle capable of fully automatic fire.
And Lieberman concedes this point in saying that they were initially designed for the military.
Those weapons are already regulated. I suspect most of us own semi-automatics, civilian pieces.
So there’s nothing here for any of you lurking Dims but heartache. Go away, save a whale, I say, or somezing, or I shall taunt you a second time ....
I’m not very educated (as of yet) when it comes to guns, but I do plan on buying one in the very near future. However, maybe I just have no idea what I’m talking about, but aren’t 3D printers going to allow people to “print” guns. Won’t these 3D printers just make it impossible for any of these gun grabs by the politicians?
